I really like the added educational aspect. Seeing someone with basic Japanese skills trying their best, and the reassuring way everyone responds to her efforts, is encouraging. I admire Stephanie for that, and will use this as inspiration.
Japanese people are very understanding and helpful when when you don't speak their language 💕
Stephanie did a great job. But her nails would have scared me. They look as sharp as knives.
It's nice how politely she asked for help. People also seemed to enjoy supporting her 😊
It's so wonderful to now have the "tourist" experience with Stephanie and the "local" experience with Shizuka. Nice work!
This video was truly a great experience showing what it would be really like as a tourist in japan trying to get around!
Yay! Glad you think so!
Stephanie did a great job! I appreciate the similarities and differences between her and Shizuka, and I think it was a great decision to add another host.

You too!

Shizuka and Stephanie are both wonderful to watch - hopefully they can film together in the future!
They for sure will!
Great job Stephanie! I thought it was adorable how nervous she was approaching strangers, yet she’s very confident on camera. I look forward to more of her perspective in future videos. Dine like a local

Amazing job Stephanie! This was super helpful! Your nervousness was so cute in the best way possible and very relatable. My husband and I will be visiting Japan for the first time in October for our 6 year wedding anniversary so all your suggestions were fantastic, and relieving to know I won’t be the only one who is nervous to interact with locals. Thank you again!
So glad to hear that! Please don't be afraid to approach them, Japanese people are super helpful and friendly! 💕
Thank you ❤
Awesome video esp from the perspective of someone with limited Japanese as far as conversation. Thank you!

Otokoyama Junmai Sake is very popular in Japanese restaurants in Sydney. I've never seen it in Japan...Need to find it next time. I like it

Looks exquisite! Dine like a local!
I think this is a really good guide with the inclusion of words that are good to understand how to use and a good overall demonstration on how to navigate with limited Japanese.
One thing I've noticed though is that Stephanie actually understands far more Japanese than she speaks
Usually listening skills are better than the speaking skills TT
Whoa! You guys found one of my favorite spots, Shirubee!! I’ve gotten wrecked there five too many times, but it’s a great place to bring out of towners❤
