- 4 mile decent means lots of footage.
www.trailforks...
skip to 4:47 for the start of it.
Today we climbed Mullach clach a bhlair & Sgor Gaoith. These are munros in the cairgorms.
Mullach clach a bhlair is 1,019 m (3,343 ft) high
Sgor Gaoith is 1,118 m (3,668 ft) high
from the car park its a 5 mile cycles to the start of the first climb.
This starts off as tarmac before switching to singletrack. The climb up to Mullach (3.4 miles) is a well groomed track and you can cycle all the way to the top (fitness depending). After summiting we headed back down the trail and continued along the plateau track for 3 miles then turning onto a trail over the heather. It was further 3 miles to the peak of Sgor Gaoith. The summit of Sgor Gaoith provides stunning views down into Loch Einich. The decent we did was the stalkers path that leads back down to were we parked the cars. This trail start a couple of hundred feet off the main path leading back down from the summit.

What a brilliant video. It certainly did look like a good descent. Well done mate and thanks for sharing.
Awesome ride, that was epic, stunning scenery and brilliant descending, especially that last one, great vid :)
Its going to take a lot to beat it.
glad the Mist went nice View after buddy enjoy that ;0) look like you 3 had fun grate stuff
The decent was well worth the effort climbing up.
Will be back to using miles after brexit ...lol....... looked great good to see others on MTB
P B66 were you on the Munro as well?
MTB Scotland no prefer to walk up them , but use my bike at time to bike in on some walks.
Epic Karma implies I deserved to slip in the bog?
it also says ebike karma not epic lol
@@MTBScotland ah now it makes sense 😁
I wouldn't want to come off into those rocks!
The Muddy Cyclist it was quite nerve racking at some points. Lots of concentration required to pick a line. Totally recommend the ride if you get the chance
Not sure my hardtail would survive!
The Muddy Cyclist would be fine just slower. I’d do it on mine
