hi Rex , thank you very much for your videos , I know that if I lose my trezor or it gets damaged, I will buy another device and restore the wallet with recovery words. My question is , if in the future Trezor company closes or no longer produces Trezor and my Trezor is damaged, then how can I recover my coins?
This wallet only accepts a few coins! It does not store XRP or ADA. It is very limited and only stores 15 or 20 coins and does not store many popular altcoins like ADA and others. You should have mentioned this and shown a list of what it does store. I'm a new investor and I rely on the information that people like you provide. I've just bought one and I'm very upset with the fact that I can't store my crypto using this wallet. What a waste of money and what misleading advice. Very disappointing.
People who hacked Trezor, couldn't they hack the firmware algorithm which generates those 24 seed phrase? That means they can generate same passphrases essentially can have the possession of the device. Isn't this even remotely possible?
Does anyone know, once set up I have since been asked to export public key of eth - this hasn't happened for a while. I am not confirming as I want to be careful. does anyone have any experience of this?
like the new thumbnail pics young man , good clear video nice one . a wee bit off topic but the nano s do you think we are ok to keep using them not much is said about these ?
More impostors! I wish these idiots would get a clue. They are obviously not me. I have a verified check next to my icon. Please don't listen to anything these disgusting scammers say! Get a life moron!
So I'm using stable diffusion to generate thumbnail pics now. I do my best to make them resemble my proper age, but they do tend to remove the wrinkles and age spots! I don't feel like even the legend Nano X is a security risk even with the new firmware, but the Ledger Nano S does not have the firmware tools to make the recovery possible, so it is completely free of any of this insanity. They have not altered the firmware on the ledger nano S at all.
Thank you! Also what are your thoughts on ETF's ? do you consider etf bitcoin holders as actual bitcoin holders? Like if a person owns 5 or 10 bitcoin in the Ark bitcoin do you consider that to be a holder of bitcoin? TIA I know this question might sound a little odd but I would like the perspective of a person that is involved in the crypto space.
Absolutely not. Investing in a bitcoin ETF is a smart move, but it’s not actually holding bitcoin. The only way to hold bitcoin is in your own wallet. if your bitcoin is in someone else’s custody, such as a brokerage firm, or even a crypto exchange, like Coinbase or Kraken, it is not your bitcoin. By law, it might be considered “legally” your bitcoin. But if banks fail and brokerages go bankrupt, you will find that it really never was your bitcoin.
Good job Rex. I wonder why you do not need to re-use the same wallet address when you have sent a small amount first...unless you do this are you not sending to an unproven address?
You you can resend to the original receiving address if you want to. But Bitcoin wallets, by design, generate new receiving addresses each time. The test transaction is more for making sure you've got all the procedures down.
Understand Trezor password or seed words are in English. Can we use multiple languages for our password? especially one can communicate few languages? very informative channel.
Rex, u said everyone will eventually need to upgrade to that security-backup firmware on a ledger device, even on the original Nano S ?? Thought that one cannot handle that upgrade anymore? Thanks.
No, the ledger nano S has its own firmware. And for now the ledger nano S plus does not have the recovery feature in its firmware. But they may add it to the ledger nano S plus down the road but most likely not the original ledger Nano S if that’s what you have.
Why everyone showing how to transfer Bitcoin only, but nobody shows how to receive any other coins like Solana, Dot and more, why always Bitcoin?, I just can't find Sol and Matic on trezor 😭
They do, but it's a light App. And the only thing it will do is track your wallets. You can't interact with the device on your iphone, because the Trezor device has no Bluetooth connectivity, and there's no way to connect it with a cable. The Trezor iPhone app is kind of a convenience app so that you can check your balances when you're on the go.
Sorry, I thought you meant XRP. I have tried withdrawing XDC from uphold to a Trezor or ledger device and have not had much luck with that. You basically need to use mycrypto.com in conjunction with your hardware device and it's not very stable. I ended up losing some of my XDC by doing that. You're probably better off just storing your XDC on the exchange. I believe there are some standalone XDC phone based wallets that you can store XDC in. They are not as secure as hardware wallets, but I believe they would be more reliable. guarda.com/coins/xinfin-wallet/

@@a1isrising Use your own secure internet connection.

thx , very clear instruction CryptoDad,
If I don’t own a computer can I use someone else computer??
does it support USDT Trc20?
how to add BNB crypto to trezor wallet ?
Fantastic explanation. The only downside to this wallet is that it only allows few alt coins that can be stored.
It's the same with Ledger Nano S, probably why they are the cheapest of these providers.

are you using a iMac?
Why You skin a cat? =]
Is there a worry when setting these up, that WI-FI could be compromised and someone could copy the seed phrase you’re given?
You can probably disconnect wifi during the set up process, once you have the suite downloaded onto your computer.
im so confused by the pin. do you never have to remember those numbers again? why does it change?

Does anyone know if I can use any USB to Micro USB cable for trezor one
He said you can use any cable that has the micro USB.

😃👍🏼👊🏼
Hi, when i installed my trezor it did not ask me to disconnect and reconnect the device, is this normal? Greetz
Why does Trezor not support Solana?
Can you do all of this from a cell phone?
do receive addresses "expire"? after i confirm the generated wallet address, can i save it for later?
You can reuse addresses over and over again if you want to. They don't expire.
thanks dad for the video
Can we have 2 different trezor one devices connected under one Trezor suite with different seed phases?
why not.

If you have trezor one model, it accommodates only small selection of alt coins.
@@divineashler I've got the model T which supporting way more coins, definitely the first 100 ones on the coin market
Because bitcoin is the only one worth having. All other altcoins are a waste of time.....
