Will Owsleys influence is everywhere. I know his family. His parents and siblings. Both his Mother and Father have passed. I've polished his Grammys and cleaned the glass of his platinum records. The circumstances of his passing break my heart. Support Fathers parental rights!!!!! Learn the signs of Depression....such a loss
I heard this on the radio while I was driving in summer of 1992. I was so dumbfounded that I had to pull over on the edge of Lake Guntersville and crank up the music. A few years later, I found out he was from my area, and that we'd actually met and had mutual friends. I'd been introduced to and shook hands with a true musical genius and didn't even know it. I so wish he was still around. I would have loved to had the opportunity to work with him.
So happy I got to see him live at his peak. He performed right before Oasis at Music Midtown in Atlanta in 2000. The Gallaghers were actually on the side stage watching him perform. A wonderful memory.
OWSLEY's incredible tribute to the Beatles. He was so talented. I read that he made the entire album and handed the master to the record company saying, "Here you go".
Saw them when they opened for Fountains of Wayne at The Paradise, Boston. They were 45 minutes late, rushed in, set up in twenty minutes, and absolutely blew people away.
I've beeeeeen searching for this Owsley's amazing song for years and years, and now finally I found it here. I really thank you for uploading. This is my favorite tune forever. RIP Will Owsley...I miss you. You were one of the most talented musicians ever, too early to leave the world we live in.
I heard this CD around 1999 and have been a true fan of Will Owsley ever since- I think his music is just fabulous and I wish everyone knew about it so they could enjoy it as much as I have- R.I.P. Will-
So sad to discover that Owsley isn't here anymore - I've loved the CD "Owsley" for years and tried to find out why we didnt hear anymore from this talented man...today I discovered the sad information - so sorry RIP Owsley! Kind regards from a big fan in DK
This is one of my all time favorite albums of all time. i saw him on that HBO show one afternoon and went to Tower records that night and bought this and have not stopped listening to it since then. I cant believe more people dont know about this cat. God rest his soul.
I knew Will. I think he absolutely knew his music was brilliant but was crushed that most of the public didn't "get it". This is just a theory and do not mistake this statement as fact. But wouldn't you feel that way if you had created such a masterpiece? RIP Will.
This song really helped me when my Dad was diagnosed with prostate cancer in 2002. I was in a very dark place but somehow found this song. Would be trite to say that it made me think that there was hope and life could get better but it kind of did. Fortunately it was the non aggressive type and he's still here in 2016. Really gutted when I heard Will had taken his own life. I wish I had posted this before it happened. He might have not got the critical success he deserved but Will's music did make a difference to quite a few people.
I was lucky to recieve an EP of Owsley as a gift from the merchandiser of the music store I used to work as floor manager. And more beautiful it was a cassette as I don't prefer CDs that much. But point is I will treasure the gift forever
how many crappy albums did rolling stone magazine put in top 500 (the answer may be as high as 250, or half being crap) and this is better than most of them.

This song is McCartney-tastic. The entire album is brilliant. We miss you, Will.

This will always be one of the best albums ever recorded. I'm not sure if Will even realized how brilliant and talented he was.
亡くなってしまってとても悲しいです。ちっちゃい時からOwsleyを聴いて育ったので、、素晴らしい音楽をありがとうございました。

Saw him in Nashville, such a talent, such a sad ending. RIP
been looking for this song 4EVER! Thanx! :)
my new favorite song ...
Legend...
Brilliant!
I miss Owsley.
亡くなったんですね。とても残念です。音楽は彼に何を求めたんだろう…。何故かくやしい気持ちでいっぱいです。
Lady Gaga farts and gets 20,000,000 views and this isn't even on 2,000. It's a fucked up world right enough.

What a song! Too bad for me that my new favourite singer is already dead.
Sounds more Lennon inspired to me. Like across the universe.
