One of the most amazing things to me during the Astros run this year was all the empty seats at Jankee stadium. Their fans gave up on them long before it was over. They fkn knew. They've grown accustomed to being repeatedly owned by the Astros for almost a decade now

Went from being a loveable team, to the most hated team in 2020, to now redeemed heroic team at the end of 2022. My hate for the astros ended when they came back 3-0 against the rays, even if it was the mickey mouse season, it was still impressive that they even came back 3-0 to force game 7. I am so happy for Dusty baker, finally winning a ring as a manager. Lastly, i'm happy for the fans. After all the hate they got for 2 years, they can now be relieved that they won. Unfortunately we did cheat. No getting around that. But, with this World Series, we proved to everyone that we aren’t cheaters anymore. This is us. And anyone that still thinks that the trash can scandal, and any other scandal makes a difference now, is stuck in the past. They fought through controversy to win another series. Astros deserve this win. They worked for it. Go Astros.

People just need to accept that the Astros are just a very good team & probably will be for some time.
The game evolved getting an edge throughout decade
We cheated(like all other playoff teams one way or another), and we paid the price, lost 2 straight WS championships, and still keep making it back. Our curse was broken, we only have 3 players left signed to the Stros from 2017 and one is a pitcher and another refused to accept signs(Altuve). So its time to move on, but haters are gonna hate bc their team is inferior to ours. We let all the pitchers go and replaced with young studs, instead of rebuilding we retool. Let Beltran go(mastermind behind the sign stealing), let Hinch, let Correa go, let Springer go, all of our badd ass pitchers like Dallas, Gerrit, Morton, etc.. and replaced with players like Valdez, Javier, Garcia & Pressley. The only reason why ppl are still hating is bc we are still winning, if we dropped off after 2017 and never made the playoffs again, no one would care. But hey, like always they gonna keep sippin on that Haterade. Go Stros!! Like Paul Wall says in the new WS song, "we about to runnit back"

On the Dodgers specifically, Evan Gattis, in a podcast last year, said that the Astros had to call the Dodgers to tell them to settle down about crying so much to the media. Like the crying that Bellinger did at the beginning of this video. Basically the Astros reminded the Dodgers that they knew that they had cheated too and knew about their scheme. This is what Gattis said:
“There’s people in our clubhouse who have had to call other people from the Dodgers clubhouse and say, ‘Hey you need to clean up your shit, because, yo, we know, bro. Why you gotta be like that?,'” Gattis said
Earlier in the podcast, Gattis had similar things to say about the Dodgers being up in arms about what the Astros were doing.

The Dodgers cheated too. The Athletic has written about specific instances of the Mets and Brewers accusing them and them being known LEAGUEWIDE as one of the teams who cheated!
