you know the feeling when you want to play more satisfactory and then you see this guy ? ... yea ... i feel like i shouldnt play satisfactory.. man you are crazy good at styling, big thumbsup
Well Stin also showed a glimpse of an older build, and you can see there is always a learning curve. So you just need to invest more hours to get the experience yourself :-)
Keep at it man, as MrFaerine mentioned, I've just been playing a really long time, over 2000+ hours and 2+ years - I bet if you played this long you'd be knocking out amazing builds. Keep at it man...as MrFaerine said...it's just time and experience - as you get more familiar and comfortable with the tools and mechanics, it gets easier.
Once again, I have to pass on my KUDOS for outstanding design. Both appearance and functionality. Your work embodies a style I’ve always tried to do: no mega factories with distributed factories to take advantage of and show the stark beauty of the environment. I love the “concrete” look and will def begin using it. I also like the structural elements you’ve made. But I seriously doubt I can design layouts as elegant and efficient as yours. You have raised the bar in Satisfactory design which I doubt will be soon exceeded. 🍺🍺🥂🥂🤩
Nice showing the road barrier trick, good to have this vanilla for when mods are broken. This also finally explains how I sometimes managed to get different heights on machines and splitters on different floors so they won't snap directly to each other. Now I'm a little conflicted to report it as a bug, maybe they can fix the side effect by lowering the snapping z tolerance. It might be a side effect of the small random scaling CSS implemented against z fighting, I think it was technical artist Ben who mentioned it after U5.
Great stiff Archi, we especially liked the hanging pillars for the lights. I find that I'm always trying to figure out how to hide the kinda ugly wall lights. I also like the inclusion of build tips. More of that would be great.
Yes the hanging pillar lights turned out quite interesting - I agree, the lights in this game can be a little garish/bulky at times. Yea I guess I could do more tips/guide video's - i'll keep it in mind mate Thanks as always David, much appreciated
Dude iv been binge watching your vids since i found you yesterday just returning to the game I haven't played since o.g days . Just wanted to says your builds are nothing short of insane absolutely love your style and how casual your vids are keep it up dude you deserve way more followers.
Stalagmites are the ones coming up from the ground and Stalactites are the ones on the ceiling. The way I remember is that stalactites cling “tight” to the ceiling while stalagmites “might” grow to reach the ceiling.
Cant believe the imagination and overall skill that goes into your builds, just mindblowingly epic! Certainly a role model for everyone within the Satisfactory community. I have a question tho, was wondering which mods are you using to create the shapes/objects throughout your builds?
At the moment many mods aren't working in Update 6, which is usual when a new update is released to experimental branch. In this video I was using quality of life/utility mods: Pak Utility - for flying around and playing in creative mode. Permaday - to make it stay daytime, as recording videos at night doesn't make for good UA-cam videos. Just those two mods. Previously, I very occasionaly used Area Actions and Micro Manage, which I've done a video on. But 99.9% of my builds are pure vanila in terms of pieces used and being able to build them without any mods. When I've used mods, i've mentioned it in the video - which is mainly the 3 obelisk and spider/worm alien builds. Cheers Simon
Beautiful build! Do you have a tutorial or know if there's a tutorial anywhere on youtube of this style bus setup you use @6:07 ? I'm curious to learn it and it's requirements because I love compact builds and want to do more of them.
I haven't uploaded save since Update 6 release - i'll probably wait til U6 goes live before uploading save again. But if you're still using Update 5 - my Update 5 save is available in the description on this video - ua-cam.com/video/MtHoDGi_YB0/v-deo.html. It doesn't have the last 2 Eden Munitions and Petra builds - but has everything else. Although, if you load that U5 save in U6 - a lot of things won't look right, which I fixed recently Cheers Michael 👍
hey man, I absolutely love your builds, and I was wondering if you could explain how the trains work in this particular build? I'm kind of new to trains and I can't for the life of me figure out how you have multiple trains running on a single track back and forth without colliding. Would be nice to know how you did that! :)
Hey keeb. Yes as klonk06 mentioned, you can control the movement of trains using the block and priority signals introduced in Update 5, and so have multiple trains using the same track. Check out a UA-camr called 'Parkinwad' - he has quite a few good tutorials on how they work. Totalxclipse also. Cheers 👍
You sir should design levels of Halo. Those are very bland. I wonder what you will be able to create once or if the developers implement different maps or give us a map editor.

4:38 Trivia time: Stalagmites are from floor up, stalactites are from ceiling down. Stalagnates form when a stalagmite and stalactite connect.
Cheers 👍
Thanks for the clarification, I can't seem to remember that even though I love caves.
I love the dwarf. The drone seem to go inside the dwarf! :D
Cheers Sombre 👍
I'm getting serious bionicle vibes from these builds after stumbling upon this video
Not familiar with bionicle, ill check it out
Pure genius sir.
Cheers Andy 👍
So style, much wow
Cheers Andy 👍
That 'dwarf' reminds me of the Easter Island heads
Yea I can def see that

Yes I've had a few requests on that - i'll try to a video on it soon, cheers JT 👍
Seconding this!
I would live there :-)
I'd join you mate, be cool to live there
Amazing build! Is there a chance to walk arround in your save file?
I haven't uploaded save since Update 6 release - i'll probably wait til U6 goes live before uploading save again.

since update 5 trains were changed a bit and they added signals and priority

You should be a level designer
Cheers Lumo 👍
I can’t even imagine how much time it took for him to get the tickets for these builds… wow

In terms of the map - CSS have done a wonderful job, don't think I could ever do better. But thanks Anton, appreciate it 👍
Lol these random hebrew letters on the screens. xd
