Thank you for doing an actual walk through making the roundabout. You make some truly amazing things, but it's sometimes just a guess how you did it. Great video!
Beautiful stuff as usual \(^-^)/ Just a tip for beginners in regards of Path Signals: Place them further away from last Signal on track (especially on downhill sections) otherwise trains will be breaking unnecessarily. So if you have Block Signals spread at certain short distance to allow higher bandwidth of trains going through, omit one Block Signal before Path Signal allowing for longer gap.
I really appreciate the tutorial! I'd love to see a video about your train network over-all. Specifically I'd like to know how you do mixed trains effectively, what their routes look like, and how you plan out stations. Also how you make single and double rails go over terrain so nicely. Thanks!!
A full on train tutorial vid, ill keep it in mind, cheer sEric. But in the meantime, just incase you wasn't aware - TotalXclipse has quite a few tutorial vid's for trains also.
I know Im a year late but i can not for the life of me figure out where you put the power generator or supply or whatever for the beginner base. It would mean loads if you could tell me
i'll add as well that the train pathing thing that you observe is a very hard problem, i'm interested in observations you have about it, i construct my train neworks to be different because i avoid that hard problem, interested in your experiences about it.
Thanks man, appreciate it The train problem I'm experiencing I think is just a bug. It only seems to happen on the south side of the map, which is strange. I could leave the game running for a whole day, go to work and come back and trains work absolutely fine - but for some reason when I first load my save, some trains mess up and take the wrong track, or go the wrong way and need to turn around. It's quite strange. And to be honest I have no idea why it happens. Does seem like a bug.
at 1min43, I spotted a bean getting rolled over by the train on the left side and then getting up and being moved by the train, hilarious !
yeah noticed it too, amazing stuff! 1:40
I didn't notice it when recording, but noticed while editing - shame I would of liked to see how far the train took the bean :)
@@StinArchi legend has it he's riding the train to this day ;D
@@Basement-Science I bet he didn't even pay for his train ticket either
Thanks for sharing, you're the best
Much appreciated mate
Bean was loving the trains at 1:40 😂
Love that train roundabout idea, and the signs in the middle just complement it :)
Thanks my man 👍

@@StinArchi Aye no problem.
When you're making circles, why do you not build off all 4 edges of the square?
No reason, just forgot
@@StinArchi Beautiful world BTW, I like that you kept your railway at ground level, it all looks on point.

Does anyone have the latest save file of his own world ?
