Ist of all Thank You for Your Service. 2nd Thank You for your preserving this beautifull 79 Frieghtliner. It brings back my years of C.O. E. Driving. 40 plus. Dave
... shoot ! My son & i met this trooper at a Love's in Northern Alabama about 2011 or 12. I had a green 1972 KW cabover with a 1693 & leased to Planes moving & Storage in Cincinnati ... he gave us a picture of his '1973 Pete ... Great guy !!!
I remember this outfit out of Los Angeles... When I started driving in 1989 they had one of the cleanest flatbed fleets. Certainly brought back memories. Nice to see the truck is still running.
I agree. Great interview and thank you Bob for your service. I too am in law enforcement (38 yrs now) and have always wanted to be a trucker. They're a special breed.
Well Sr, u could start by obtaining your CDL and drive only when u can, many companies r ok with that. I was an over d road driver for 15yr and now I have 3 yrs as deputy sheriff. I love both careers ,so if u have something for trucking don't hold up. Be safe Sr 👍
Thumbs up to you sir!!! When I lived in California when I was in the USMC, I would see "Keep on truckin Inc" back in the 80's. You are correct on this......Memories 💯
In 81 I was working for Continental Towing in Los Angeles and went to the Northside grade of the grapevine and hooked on to a Keep On Trucking rig with 2 steel coils on and pulled him to Long Beach
I saw this truck at the show this weekend! It’s a really nice truck! I love the interior! I didn’t meet him, but I did meet his wife! My grandpa had a White Freightliner just like this!
This is awesome!!!! Oh my gosh brought back memories. My dad drove a white Frieghtliner. The company he drove for truck colors were light blue and white. Same design as this truck with the dark going through the white. The inside was dark blue. Many fond memories of road trips in that truck.
My dad hauled containers in old COE's out of San Pedro and Long Beach as well as pipes. He had an old International Transtar, and early 70's Freightliner and a stretched out Kenworth K100. Fun times as a kid growing up with her dad.
It's great to see Old School Rigs still working.. And I really appreciate the time both men put into giving us a really good video.. And the Driver , Ex- Trooper , seems like a really good man. And it he was that way as a Law Enforcement Officer , then he's the kind of stuff we need out there.. 👍🇺🇸.
I Respect the retired officers 🚔 Thank you for taking the ⏳ to bring this interview to attention of the officer on both sides ..... This is great info etc. Awesome 🎥
Great job Chris 👏 🤘 love this interview!!!!!!! Really cool to hear a good ol boy talk truckin and that gleam in his eye talking about growing up around it and his memories .... very special. Not to mention practical tips for today and oh yeah!!!! Kevin Youngs former truck !!!!!! Beautiful 😍 thx again 👍👍
Nice looking truck......I’m 40.....been on the mechanical side of things most of my life and I’m working with a trucking company on completing the proper steps to get my class A CDL by the end of the year.....it’s something I’ve wanted to do for a long time and now have the opportunity to do it.......hopefully one day we might cross paths and see that beautiful truck......

I wonder what’s the wheelbase on this beauty?
The driver's window is obviously a manual, is the passenger side a power window?
Passenger side is air operated
That's definitely handy. Thanks for the reply.
Эта кабина 96 дюймов. Кабина 104 дюйма имеет всего 2 инструментальных ящика под кроватью спальника. На 96 дюймовой их 4.
You need to put the Mike closer to the people you are interviewing, so we can here them better.
