I was a nail tech in the 80’s in Boynton Beach, fl. A client and I were discussing Chris Wilder. Her and a group of friends met him in a bar and they all became friends. Said although they always went out with him as a group he would call them individually and try to get them to go out alone with him. Thankfully not any of them went. Very lucky ladies.

It's possible that I encountered this monster. I was 19 and working at a mall in Tampa, it was 1984....March. A man approached me, telling me how beautiful I was and that I was model material. He was charming and I was not fearful. He said he wanted to take headshots. I was flattered and thought he had a studio in the mall. When he told me that we needed to go to his car, I hesitated. As a people pleaser at that young age I felt bad turning down the offer after all the compliments, but trusted my gut and did not leave the mall with him. His nice persona got quite pushy at that point. I walked away, thank GOD. No way to know for sure, but the timeline matches up.

Did the NSW Police even try to get him returned, or liase with the US authorities? No! A big fat nothing! Then he comes back to Australia, and he's not even on a watch list as a person of interest. He assaults more victims, goes to court and is allowed to return to the States. Nobody apparently checked back into his background enough to have him held under suspicion of the earlier murders. I was lucky that at the train station there were some rail workers and I stayed with them and told them I didn't feel safe. I had my personal alarms with me but I didn't need them, as I was lucky to have some people working in the car park. If people want train information they can use the train assistance machines they do not have to speak to a lone woman. He was pretty annoyed I told him to go away and 'wasn't a female people pleaser' and he tried to follow me a bit but was annoyed when I had some people keeping an eye on me. He could have been completely innocent but these days when men ask you things, it means they want to 'engage' and probably attack you/harrass you. At the end of the day the man is a stranger. Just Sandra : Yes, it's odd that they kept referring to him as 'good looking'. I thought he was uglier than a box of hammers.

Having watched a good number of this type of crime stories, over a good number of years I have concluded that the ineptitude of certain national police forces starting with the most inept is as follows: Joint first: Australian and New Zealand. 3. Canadian (RCMP). 4. British and 5. U.S.

I don't think he was involved in the Wanda Beach murders as suggested in this video. There is no mounting evidence to suggest he was involved. Him being around the Cronulla area, being a surfer and being a sexual predator does not really constitute as solid evidence. Brutally murdering someone on the beach also really wasn't his style at all. He would take them away from the beach- get them to recruit other girls, keep them captive, torture them before sexually and physically assaulting them before killing them. No doubt he was involved in some horrific crimes, just i doubt the Wanda Beach murders. Sounds like a very weak
connection to try and close a cold case for ratings and for the police to look less incompetent.

Absolutely. The Wanda beach murders were a frenzied attack which more suited the MO of another murderer at the time that was released for an insanity plea and went back to murdering. Police were pretty slack back then.

I completely agree. At the beginning of this documentary we were told that he had links to Wanda Beach, which intrigued me, so I continued watching. However, there was no link. All they had was that he lived in a nearby suburb. So essentially, nothing.
