Those two ramps shoot you back into the bowl, who would want just a flat piece of concrete after the bowl to run into the dirt or hurry up and hop off to run back into the bowl? Idk what those people are even thinking about anthem they say “you can’t do this” says who? only the few people over head official that don’t even skate 🥲 or know what they are really talking about, if you could build on the other one that’s a little messy up like the first one they would be a nice addition to really keep the flow going😊
I don't get why the city would waste time and money removing those well made quarter pipes in the skatepark. if you're at a skatepark, you're there at your own risk. it's not like the diy is any more dangerous than any normal ramp.
I’m pretty sure that OB park was built in 2000 at the latest. I could be wrong. I grew up in East County and moved away in 2000 to go to school. I remember going to the grand opening of that park, and skating it. It could have been built after I left, and I skated it when I was home on breaks visiting my parents.
Loved the pop shove pivot to fakie and backside tail shove on the jersey amazing. Do you think if they have smoothed the two quarters with concrete sides and back to earth the park they would have left them.
We had a few people at my local park fix some pretty gnarly crack and the city came and chiseled the crack back to how it was not sure how they found out about it but they made them worse than they were before the fix

OB was built in like 2001 something. I skated it before it was fully finished back in the day. I can tell you put in some time there, fully ripping.
