When I was young I had only 2 cockatiels, one male and one female. Then the male died because he was sick and only the female lived. Then my parents decided to get 3 more parrots! Another cockatiel and 2 love birds. We have kept them over some years and then in march 2020 our friends gave us another parrot!! its a female alexandrine parrot. the female cockatiel likes to be pet but the other one doesn't. I have taught my love birds to stand on my finger and my Alexandrine parrot doesn't really like to be pet but when I was with her for some time she lets me pet her. I love them so much. And the male cockatiel also puts his wings out when he sings! :3

My bird loved listening to yours. He lost his brother a few months ago and was lonely. He started wolf whistling more because he was lonely. His brother wolf whistl ed all the time do he remained quiet. Since he died he took over the role for him. Fortunately, about a month ago my son's girlfriend caught a parakeet in the garage. She brought him over and after a few weeks we put them in the same cage. It was so funny because the keet started wolf whistling and now the cockatiel doesn't do it as much. The keet learned very quick though. I think I can get the keet to talk. I did it with a keet when I was a teen. Since this one seems to learn fast I think he could pick it up quickly. Love your cockatiel though! He brought some joy to my birds day. Thanks!
my tiel had the sweetest whistles as a little boy, very cute constant mumbles like yours. I taught him the wolf whistle and it was crisp and perfect, like exact proper sound.
