The little baby sounds are so cute. I remember when my tiel started making those noises. Now he sings like crazy random songs like the Addams Family and Another one bites the dust 😂
@@Lily-gz3ip XD yes. When I'm refilling his food dishes, he just STARES at me like a hawk. But then he's so happy. He also screamed at SEVEN A.M. yesterday.

Never could find who he belonged to, but he was so sweet and smart, and already knew how to say so many things. I love seeing this little guy, remind us me of my sweet Travelin' Jack.
Joost yeah I had a cockatiel I think he lived about 17 years. I'm not exactly sure when he was born. But I got him to whistle the Laurel and Hardy theme but he never did it right. But I guess it just makes it cuter

Andrea I agree. It's much easier to train and bond with them that way. It would only be cruel if you trim your birds feathers before they are able to learn how to fly. It is nothing but a safety measure.
Mhmm. It would break my heart more if my bird were to get scared, fly into something and snap their neck. I would feel more guilt over their death than clipping their wings.
My male Cinnamon Pearl Cockatiel Buddy learned to imitate everything what your bird says and even the Kill Bill tune from hearing him about 5-6 times. I was shocked when he first did it. He goes wild in his cage running back and forth on his perches and whistling every time I play your video. Thank You for adding to his vocabulary!
When I was young I had only 2 cockatiels, one male and one female. Then the male died because he was sick and only the female lived. Then my parents decided to get 3 more parrots! Another cockatiel and 2 love birds. We have kept them over some years and then in march 2020 our friends gave us another parrot!! its a female alexandrine parrot. the female cockatiel likes to be pet but the other one doesn't. I have taught my love birds to stand on my finger and my Alexandrine parrot doesn't really like to be pet but when I was with her for some time she lets me pet her. I love them so much. And the male cockatiel also puts his wings out when he sings! :3
Wow Bolle is so cute, my male grey Captain Black is going mental listening to this, I'm teaching him to sing, he is getting there....hope this encourages & helps him, yes he makes a lot of the same noises most people find annoying but I love all of his cute sounds, also have a lutino female called Lemonade she is busy sitting on her 4 eggs at the moment! ;) Thanks so much for sharing, awesome!
I also don’t cut the wings of my cocktail. I love to see him fly. Only problem that he usually fly for two seconds and than lands on my head to sit on my hair
Beautiful sound, what a clever bird. Mine prefers to listen rather than talk, but she seems to be able to know what the time is which I find weird. 10pm on the dot she'll start screeching for her blanket, drives me nuts but I love her all the same, they all have unique personalities
my cockatiel arrived 2 days ago, and when i put this he came closer to me and watched it with utmost curiosity, especially the part where the whistling came on! thank you so much!!

My bird loved listening to yours. He lost his brother a few months ago and was lonely. He started wolf whistling more because he was lonely. His brother wolf whistl ed all the time do he remained quiet. Since he died he took over the role for him. Fortunately, about a month ago my son's girlfriend caught a parakeet in the garage. She brought him over and after a few weeks we put them in the same cage. It was so funny because the keet started wolf whistling and now the cockatiel doesn't do it as much. The keet learned very quick though. I think I can get the keet to talk. I did it with a keet when I was a teen. Since this one seems to learn fast I think he could pick it up quickly. Love your cockatiel though! He brought some joy to my birds day. Thanks!
How do you turn this thing off?? Don't you get crazy hearing this all day cuz it seems like he sings all day Edit: Do you press on Orange button on cheek to turn off?
Haha! He certainly does not sing the entire day. In fact, he only sings by himself for maybe 15 or 30 minutes in the morning and in the evening. Obviously when you give him attention during the rest of the day, he will also respond. I don't film him the rest of the day, a 5 hour UA-cam movie of a bird just sitting and doing nothing is not very entertaining to most people. I don't know whehter the orange buttons turn him off. I'll have to try one day. Thanks for the tip! :D
