Subscribe to my channel and you'll be notified. It will take a while though. He's not always in a funny mood... Also I'm currently living abroad, so I'll only see him again in a month from now. I'm thinking about making a movie on his eating habbits. They're hilarious, as long as you don't have to clean up his miess!
This is so ridiculously cute, I love bolle! This is the second video I’ve seen of him and I think I found another awesome cockatiel to watch videos of!
Everything about this is great. The thumbnail, the cute tiel, the tiel trying to understand, and head bob, his little screms the drumming everything. 🥺❤️
Bolle is adorable! One of my cockatiels has learned drumming and whistles Another one bites the Dust ❤️ I should have him listen to Bolle and see if he picks up anything new
I guess it doesn't hurt, otherwise he would certainly stop doing it. We've had quite a few birds over the past 40 years and many bang their beak on something. Mostly on hollow objects so that they hear noise. I had an agapornis doing it on the bottom of his cage, It was a convenient object, as it was often available to him. :-)
Tapping is a way to demand attention with cockatiels (and is usually less annoying than screeching). It basically means 'play with me', or with a more demanding bird, 'HUMAN!! I require your immediate attention!!" XD I don't think it hurts them; their beaks are tough enough for them to chew hollows in trees to nest in.
I know woodpeckers have a special head that cushions the brain but I am not sure about birds such as pet birds. I reckon so because my cockatiel bangs his beak like that all the time for attention and stops to look at me before going at it again. He has to make sure I'm paying attention. He likes it when i tap my finger or objects back. It could almost give a person a headache watching them do that lol.
I did 2 things: I got rid of the stereo as it was broken anyway and I bought him a little drum. That should be fun, I thought! The little fluffy one turns out to be scared of the little drum...
Unfortunately, I believe beak banging like that is a sign of boredom. Most people react by copying and tapping next to the bird with their fingers. But what they really should be doing is distracting the bird and giving them some attention, to take their boredom away.
I think it's simply begging for a treat that it's being denied -- not expressing any aspirations to be a "drummer" as its human companion is anthropormorphizing (sp?) upon it.
I had CockatielS and they brought me immense happiness followed BY immense grief when they left. The feeling of eventually gaining their trust was beyond anything comparable in this world. To see them eager to fly out everytime they saw an open sky was equally heartbreaking. Over the period I realized I want them to be happy more than I want them to be with me. Isn't that what true love is? I was ready to have a heart break but I wasn't convinced to keep them caged. So I started to train them for a free flight and eventually lost them one day. Here is a thing. I knew they might fly away and die, but I let that happen. In my opinion by keeping them caged and clipping their feathers, I was just trying to fulfill my selfish interest masqueraded as my love for them. To you all who are fooling themselves and others as how much you love them, stop buying them and stop caging them. Stop posting this so called cute videos. These beauties do not belong in cages. No matter how much you claim to be bird lovers, you have given them nothing but a life of agony and suffering. If you are convinced that they are happy in your cages, you never saw a happy bird.
That was not wise to let them go. They were raised in captivity so they would have no idea how to look after themselves and would die of stress or starvation or thirst within days. Even if they did survive, they are not native (unless you live in central Australia) and would be considered a pest, and if they were to breed they could become quite a problem for the native environment. Many invasive species today begun as escaped pets. Keeping them in a small cage and clipping their wings would indeed be cruel, but if they are in a large aviary or are allowed to roam around the house they will live just as fulfilling a life as their wild counterparts. I understand you only wanted the best for them, but for next time please don't release pets into the wild.
I love how you play the beat and hes like *nods head* "okay got it! *tap tap tap tap tap* "wait.. Show me again." Lmao
Yeah, this stuff seems a bit hard for him. Haha!
This is so precious I want more

My cockatiel totally loves Bolle.
Just wondering, but is it okay for a cockatiel to hit their beak that often? I always wonder that with other birds doing the same thing

He sure knows how to get my attention!

Awww I love him! He's got a fan in me.
Thanks!

Cockatiel: NOT MY TEMPO!
Indeed, he has his own tempo!
You can literally see him trying to figure it out and get it right.

I love this bird.
So cute
Thanks! Yeah, he's a cutie.

He's like a one-man (one-bird) band !
Haha! Yeah, he's a silly noise maker. But also a cutie. Sometimes. ;-)
So cute!!!
Knock knock who's there? Knock knock knock knock
My cockatiel who does this is called Weather the Tapper Head.
Bravissimo!
In the beginning it’s like here is my beat. Then catches up. And then does it’s own beat. The bird has talent. He is competing not copying.
I love your bird and your other content seems interisting new sub
Thanks!

Confidence in his future performance! ;-)
So precious! I'm learning to become a drummer myself. Maybe we can exchange a few tips 😂
Hahahah!! Yeah, I'm sure the bird's tips will be very helpful!!!
Thats not a cockatiel.... thats a woodpecker.... ;-)
Haha! In that case he probably would have smashed right through the thing! :-)
Sweet baby
Should get him a little drum to save his beak.
I did 2 things: I got rid of the stereo as it was broken anyway and I bought him a little drum. That should be fun, I thought! The little fluffy one turns out to be scared of the little drum...
My money's on the bird if you were betting on who's better
Haha! Yes, he's got skills!!!
Clipped feathers ?
No, nothing clipped at all. He can fly like crazy.
Tiel turned into a chicken at one point. lol

Teach him Nokia ring tones please!
That would be such a bad idea... Once he knows a sound, he never gets fed up with it. But in the case of the Nokia tune, I will get fed up! lol
Yeah I understand lol. Then you wouldn't know if it's your phone or your bird xd.
❤❤❤❤
4:24, I lost it
I know. No idea why he has started to mix up different tunes, but it seems that he's convinced the song should sound like this!
angry birds
Yeah, but he's not angry! He's playing and fooling around.
❤
Drummer boy rock
Cherub x
Challenge
I do know that male cockroaches love to beak bang -why are you enchanted him to do this in excessively? Can he say, "broken beak? "
yummy buttons
I think it's simply begging for a treat that it's being denied -- not expressing any aspirations to be a "drummer" as its human companion is anthropormorphizing (sp?) upon it.
😍😻🤩🥰
😍🐤
Its the nokia not the bird" made me laugh
Thanks. He makes crazy noises, but the Nokia sounds he has not yet mastered! ;-)
