I found it so sad how people had to drag there fingers across the tunnel walls and while I was walking back I saw finger marks! 😢 Overall a fantastic station tho!
I really enjoyed this presentation, and your informative voice-over is perfect. I am impressed with this cavernous station, but the lift ride down could be an issue for some people. I liked your comparison shots, and the multiple escalators remind me of Wynyard Station York St entrance. I am almost old enough to remember the true sundials 😅. The toilet doors are far less traumatic than the others. Years ago, there were similar doors on the staff toilets under the Harbour Bridge at Milsons Point, however, these toilets operated on a timer and opened automatically after 3 minutes 😳. This wasn't time enough for a no 2 and many people got quite the surprise 😂. Fantastic presentation, well done 👏 👍
One time I got lost at central station because they renovated the station and missed my train they should make a map if there is they should make it more visible
I live In Sydney I all ways been around and was excited for the metro while it was being built and so good it now getting extended all around thanks you for making these vids glad I found you .
i have another question - is the victoria cross metro station open tommorow or just that day of the sneek peek because i might go there tommorow sunday if it is open
Nothing with that would make me a ‘nerd’? It’s the opinion of an everyday commuter. I’m pretty sure that complimenting a door that closes quickly in the bathroom unlike other stations where it takes 30 seconds is something anyone would say, none of us would want to be busting for the toilet and just waiting for a door to close.
Thanks for this video! Legend says I’m still there giving people directions & announcements!
Haha. Thanks for being part of the video! :)
Hey Matthew do you have any other friends?
Oh wow! That is a collab we needed and this is a nice station as well!
Hi man

@paulburgess-qr9rx His issue is with finger and hand prints on a brand new wall and I agree with him.

Awesome video Elliot as always:
- When do you think this line will open, May 19? As the trial testing finishes on May 18. Ideas?
It’s via RailSafe.

A certain someone would like this lift only entrance! Hmmmm, I wonder who...
Nice. Well done

As I’ve already mentioned, the station is for one particular open day, if you want to go then you need to be more alert when tickets come out.
Youve got to be a very special type of nerd to approve of a door in the toilet of a train station in sydney

Good video
Only Central, Gadigal, Martin Place and Crows Nest
Do know when the next open day is
From what I’ve heard so far, this might be the last one.
Heyyy!!
Does the Denison St entrance have access to lifts?
Yes it does via the same set of lifts to Miller Street South. It’s on a floor below.
Wow, Victoria, Quest station. Wow, Victoria station.
Why do the station platforms look like a modernized non brutalist version of the Washington DC Metro in the US?
Nice
