I'm just trying to decide...i have the dali epicon 2...i have a chance like you had to to get a pair of focal micro utopia or the usher dancer mini...nit sure what to do
If I was in your place I would probably get the focal micro utopia assuming the price is reasonable. I like focal.... used them heavily during my car audio days. Have not much experience with them in home speakers. Might be getting a pair at the end of the year or early next year. Am on a break right now from this hobby. Busy with several other hobbies. If the price difference is huge, that might also be a factor... as well as brand recognition if important to you.

I have had several Totems. The last two pairs I've owned are the Hawk and the Totem Element Earth. The Hawks are gone. I still have the Element Earth which was second from the flagship Element Metals when I got them. For extended listening, I prefer the Usher. However that may be because of the other components (amp and pre-amp). The Earth is paired to a Krell amp. Sounds really good. I just seem to enjoy the Usher with the Classe better. Might also have something to do with placement. They are in different locations in my house.

is the Usher dancer mini 1 or the Usher mini 2 better??? and do you know how these compare to focal utopia micro?
I haven't heard the mini 2 or the focal micro utopia yet Brian. I almost bought a used micro-utopia last year but waited too long to make a decision.
