That was an absolutely brilliant performance by you and the choir; thank you so much. I very much appreciate all your hard work in producing these videos. The church looked beautiful and the organ sounded magnificent.
Fantastic video Richard! Any chance you would be willing to check out/record the organ of Bristol Cathedral once it returns from restoration in summer 2025? Its my favourite!
Really appreciate your playing, as an Englishman living in Istanbul. In the Anglican Church here is a modest organ, and whilst we have a brilliant organist the sound produced is nowhere near the sounds I enjoy in your series. Thank you for the aural link with my homeland.
I often find it difficult to appreciate the full beauty of organ pieces when they're based on unfamiliar tunes, so it was great to have the original plainchant spliced together with your masterful performance. Thanks Richard and all involved , for making this amazing edit
wow Veni Creator with Durufle's wonderful harmonies show how beautiful Gregorian melodies really are. I am wrung out emotioanally any time I hear this.
I’ve been studying for 2.5 years. I spend the whole semester learning the finale and I just played as a postlude today.

A marvellous performance of one of my favourites! I love the flutes and the strings on this organ ❤
Thank you, BIS & all, for this glorious beginning of sight & sound to Pentecost Sunday!
So beautiful and beautifully performed by everyone. Thank you.
That wonderful final chord of assertion and triumph leaves me wanting it to go on for everyone. As indeed it will.

Now wouldn’t this be an amazing organ to sample for Hauptwerk!! 😃
Beautifully performed both by Richard and the choir. Duruflé's Veni Creator is a firm favourite of mine.
BRAVO - what a stunning sound! Oh I am so excited to learn more and to get to know this instrument!!!!
Some of us can't wait to take it home, as it were 😉
Simply stunning!
This organ sounded wonderful in Kevin Bowyer's recording of Sorabji's Organ Symphony No. 1. It has an immense sound and a wide range of colours.
Vraiment merci pour ce cadeau de Pentecôte !
They also have one of the best sounding ring of bells in the UK

That's what Duruflé intended...

Absolutely wonderful Richard! The Organ and Choir sounded incredible!
Wonderful, just wonderful! ❤
A new work to me but it has its own peculiar beauty. Thank you Richard and the members of the R A choir
Magnificent, Richard! The videography wonderfully enhances this classic Durufle work!!
Beautiful ! And I can’t wait until this organ is available on Hauptwerk - thank you Richard
Supered performance. Thks Richard for creating the video.
Stunning!
Just the thing to end the Day of Pentecost right. Thanks so much!
Beautifully done.
That was fantastic Richard - I really enjoyed that! :-)
The thought went through my mind: is this the organ which Richard is sampling next?
Any chance this is going to be the new BiS sampleset? Great playing and singing: thanks for the yearly reminder I have to learn this piece!
Greatest organ in UK
I can remember Lionel Rogg telling me that English organists make everything they play sound like Elgar!
😄
Forgive me being brain dead, but where can I see a stoplist for this H&H?
Take a look at the National Pipe Organ Register, all the information is there.
