    Perfect timing on the video. I’ve got the exact same truck and I just got my Eibach 2.0s. Nice to see how it looks before I install mine. 🤙🏼

    I have 2022 TRD off road too and go with eibach lift same 2front and 1 at the back but I keep the TRD pro wheels and put 265/75/16 KO2 run smooth for everyday use,maybe nxt I’ll go try bigger tire but need to enjoy for now my 265/75/16 tire..not to much stress on my drive train..I’m one of your subscriber and I live too here in OAHU

    Just put mine on, have the 2.0 coil over front and rear reservoir shocks in back. I also have and overland set up. Put them on where they came set out of box and front end was too high compared to back. I’m going to add the icon 1.5” add a leaf to help balance the load I’ll be using when packed fully for travels. The front for me seems like it will need uca, it feels like it has a slight camber but it could just be settling as it’s only been two days. For now I unloaded the spare and bed equipment I keep stores and it brough it up to 36.5 rear and the front is at 37.25 after lowering to compensate the sag till my leaf comes in. Hoping this helps get riding smoothly bc I’m not a fan as of right now how it rides after hearing and seeing all the setups ride great.

    I've been running the 2.0s for about a year, replaced the front spacer my Tacoma came with used. 1.5 inch block in rear. Didn't change coilover settings, snd it's pretty dam level, sometime I think front high. Actually thinking of lowering front about .25 inch to get my rake back.

  • @codymann3724
    @codymann3724 2 роки тому +2

    Do you think this stage 2 kit is worth the money over the stage1? I’m looking at putting the 2” stage one and 1.5 rear with 1.5 AAL on 2022 taco and can’t decide if worth going for the stage 2 in the front.

    • @everydaybettereverydaystronger
      @everydaybettereverydaystronger  2 роки тому +1

      Yes absolutely because the install and adjustment is way easier than having to disassemble the entire shock and coil. Ride quality is similar but stage 2 is better IMO

    • @codymann3724
      @codymann3724 2 роки тому

      Great thanks! Did you end up putting in a 2” block in the rear and if so did the shock have enough tolerance for that even with it saying 1.5” limit?

    • @everydaybettereverydaystronger
      @everydaybettereverydaystronger  2 роки тому

      @@codymann3724 Yes because the SnugTop weight presses it down that 1/2" or more so it's fine. If your not planning on adding a camper or similar extra weight, stick with the 1" block or add-a-leaf

    Can't decide between Eibach stage 1 or Bilstein 6112 I've heard that the 6112 offers much more stiffer ride

    • @everydaybettereverydaystronger
      @everydaybettereverydaystronger  2 роки тому

      I think it’s subjective because we’ve had both and they rode similar. I think the stiffness guys complain about is usually the E load tires they decide on. Put C load KO2 tires on and it’s buttery smooth

    • @everydaybettereverydaystronger
      @everydaybettereverydaystronger  2 роки тому

      Go for it brother! Never been disappointed anything Eibach makes. Yes the add-a-leaf will slightly stiffen but depends on which brand. I heard Toytec and OME ones are the best. The 1” block is perfect without a camper shell. 2” would be better in that case

    I’ve been pretty disappointed in peoples videos that supposedly review shocks. First of all, adjectives like awesome or unbelievable are meaningless because they’re subjective and only relative to the authors experiences, which may be none because they switched from stock, which everything is better than stock. Actually, people who have only one set of shocks shouldn’t even be doing reviews.
    Anyways, there’s only 3 data points needed to characterize a shock. That’s the low, mid, and high speed damping. To illustrate each of those you put the truck into a scenario that produces low speed shock travel, mid, high, etc. So low speed is on road driving, body roll, driveway thresholds, g outs, etc. Mid speed are speed bumps, low amplitude terrain, bumpy rocky riverbed surfaces at low vehicle speeds. Then there’s high speed events like hitting curbs at speed, hitting square corners, hitting large rocks at speed, woops at speed, etc. I’m just saying people need to put some effort into their reviews instead of just showing pictures of their truck.
