Nice birds you got there. Where did you get your pigeons feeder trays at?

Thanks. I saw your message when I was in the liberation spot. It was a little strong, but I just took a chance and it was good.

Try to put on the peak of roof two slats at each end of roof then run strings or rope or wire across the hole part of your roof this will force them to hit the landing board. Good luck!

Thanks. Yes, I will modify it after the season is over. For now, it is working ok, so far

Your trees are in their way unfortunately. :) Either the trees need to come out or your loft needs to move to the right,as I am looking at it. Maybe the fencing needs to be taller. Hens and cocks training together doesn't work very well most of the time. If you can let the hens first so that they would be in the loft when the cocks come home might be a way to go. Just a thought or two as I see it. Easy to say but hard to do usually is the norm.

Yes, I have a lot of trees around, but I think they have enough space to land on the landing board. They are just used to land in the roof and it is more confortable. The problem is the space for my old bird team. I just have one division for both, cocks and hens. I know is not ideal, but they will have to fly together this year. Thanks for the advice

Try putting the fence on the ridge of the loft

Good training! The wind was very strong this morning and I waited till the afternoon to let my birds out. The fence you put there doesn’t really work for your gable roof. You may want to make it taller for it to work well. That breeder was the trouble maker😂. You made a right choice to separate him/her from the race team, which did very well without him/her.

Yes, the roof is not the ideal. I should have made another type of roof when I built the loft. Will try to see if I do some modifications to try to make the bords land in the landing board. I see your birds landing directly there and I think I have more space for them to land in the board. Yes, that cock is a little lazy, I will not train him anymore with the team. Good that I put the GPS ring on him and I saw his conduct. That is another good used of the GPS. Thanks

@@quinteroloft9530 I think your birds' trapping is already fast even though they may not land directly on the board. Mine always land first on the house roof and then go down to the landing board. Only a few of them can land directly on the board from the sky when they are not returning in a group. I like your landing board and trap door set-up: it's much higher and right below the roof edge, just like some lofts in Europe. Mine is a little bit too low. But I did not want to make a lot of modifications to the sheds that came with the windows already installed. Ideally I'd prefer higher landing board and trap door to be animal-proof. I have a cross bar to block the trap door when all birds are in. So far I have not had any problems.

Put the fence on both sides of the roof then run string a cross both sides pasteles strings pigeons won't land on top promise
