I am planning on using a 3dclippy with the horizontal lever arm (without a spring) with my chameleon. I don't think we need to do any tip shaping with it since we are cutting the filament. In theory I think we should just be able to:
    1. move the printer to cut the filament
    2. retract the old filament
    3. move the printer to reset the clippy.
    4. load the new filament.
I am guessing when we use the gcode generator we aren't measuring the distance between the extruder gear and the nozzle, but from the extruder gear and the cutter on the clippy?. Since we would load back to the cutter point and then the purge would need to happen to remove the old filament after the cutter.
I am assuming we need to modify the generated gcode in multiple places to account for everything. Is there something I am forgetting? Could you provide a more detailed explanation on what I need to modify in the generated gcode?
    Thanks!

With the 3DClippy, you don't need to back it out but for a few mm, so the entire unloading routine changes, however, you still need to know the distance between the drive gears and the nozzle, because that's how far it needs to load it. But everything else is correct.

Can I see specific to a MK3S+ and want to see a 4 color print? Like a model with a person to color eyes.. skin.. etc clothes

Sorry, not unless you want to buy me one! ;-) I don't own an Mk3S+. I can't possibly buy every type of printer out there and test it... however, we have the Mk3 profiles already out there, and there is virtually no difference other than the top PTFE mount for the Y adapter on top of the extruder. As for models, I'm not an artists, so I'd have no way of fulfilling a special request like that either. All you need to do is open up Prusaslicer, update the profile to have 4 colors, load the STL of the person and paint the features with the 4 available colors. (You can change PrusaSlicer to have the exact 4 colors you want to use.) Once you do that, you can then slice it and it will show you how it will look as printed.

@@williamsteele 👍🏻 thanks… just wanted to confirm with the color change option in slicer.. it will still work the same.. seems like a better and cheaper option then the MMU
