Show them a few videos of him doing something more "interesting" like toys or "gross" foods, and maybe they'll get it. It's his personality and sense of humor. We'll watch him do just about anything.
A great video to watch if you're a fan of barcodes, like myself - there are some great close-up shots here, especially at 3:04. Most people don't give the barcodes any attention, but credit to Ashens for giving them the respect they deserve.
I reckon I could - considering the video quality and how close he brings the barcode to the camera - but alas, my scanner's currently out of action due to overzealous use recently.

I'm not a fan of those ones specifically though I love most over bachelor products. HOWEVER. Pasta with sauce has seen me through many a cold and lonely night, just like bachelor's rice. I have a secret love for pasta in sauce despite the fact I know how dodgy it is.
The Beast I do Pasta N Sauce on a jacket potato, all stuffed inside a hard roll. Then I roll the whole thing in a large flour tortilla. It basically makes a big carb burrito.
the bag version of chicken and mushroom is the best. cook it in a pan with some butter, milk and water - the bag version only takes 5 minutes and would be so much better than that. plus it's only like 75p a bag for when the student loan hasn't come in yet
They're 60p for the pot and 50p for the bag where I am. I chuck them in a bowl with some milk, water and butter and nuke 'em till the sauce has dried up. The smoky cheese and pancetta one is by far the best, but it'll stink out an entire floor of a building.
The packet version of this is fantastic camping food - it costs just £1, is flat-packed, weighs next to nothing and can be cooked on a normal fire (no gas stove needed).

sometimes these are on offer in asda for 50p :D since they're low fat i think they're actually pretty great! (you should try the mac n cheese one!) also put less water in than they say, i usually get 2 pots, make both of them up with way less water and then pour one into the other, as a snack it fills the hole! :)
tbh the packet stuff is better then the cup stuff, since well the pasta is better, it just takes a lil longer to cook, requires like 150ml of milk and 200ml of milk (something like that), and recommends adding some butter to it too, and you can get a pack which is a decent portion for like 50p, so 2 for £1 at some stores (ASDA is where I usually go since its a 2 minute walk away), so its like £1 and spend less then 5 minutes with a kettle or £0.50, a bit of milk and water (and butter if you like), get way more of it and tastes more better (opinion), at the cost of it taking more like 10 or so minutes after messing with a hob and pan, letting the pasta soften and sauce thicken.
These reminds me of my old work. We used to get the tomato mug shots and mix it with an instant Heinz tomato soup. We had no heating in our shop and these did a good job of warming us.

I haven't tried these wee pots, but I'm addicted to the ones in the satchets. Have the cheese and broccoli one on for my dinner right now with chips. I cover it in cheese and grill before serving. Unfortunately no garlic bread to go with it :(
I would suggest having the Pasta n' Sauce sachets. With those ones you can put actual milk in (and butter) and I would imagine tastes far superior to that for about the same price (They're usually £1 - £1.50)

Anyway, after the 3rd one I decided I didn't really like them that much after all and have avoided eating that 4th one ever since. Ironically, I might have to eat it today, since this killer toothache I've been having makes it difficult to eat more normal foods ;(

Chicken fat makes beautiful roast potatoes. I prefer it to goose, although both pale in comparison to Turkey fat roast potatoes
