The Ed Sullivan Show was a television variety program that aired on CBS from 1948-1971. For 23 years it aired every Sunday night and played host to the world's greatest talents. The Ed Sullivan Show is well known for bringing rock n' roll music to the forefront of American culture through acts like Elvis Presley, The Beatles, and The Rolling Stones. The entertainers each week ranged from comedians like Joan Rivers and Rodney Dangerfield, to Broadway stars Julie Andrews and Richard Burton, to pop singers such as Bobby Darin and Petula Clark. It also frequently featured stars of Motown such as The Supremes, The Temptations, Stevie Wonder and The Jackson 5. The Ed Sullivan Show was one of the only places on American television where such a wide variety of popular culture was showcased and its legacy lives on to this day.

This was pretty cool! Paul also sang a medley of his hits on this program, which I really hope you will post. The songs in the medley were "Diana," "Tonight My Love," "Tonight," "Dance On Little Girl," "Put Your Head On My Shoulder," "You Are My Destiny," "Lonely Boy" and "My Home Town." That would be fantastic to see!

Thats a fantastic arrangement. Leave it to Paul to take a simple little X-Mas song and make it sound so great. Hes so good.💘
He was so talented, confident and professional from the start. I saw him recently in concert and could not believe how at the age of 81 his voice was as youthful and strong as when he was a teen idol, and his energy level was off the charts. Everyone in the room could feel it and returned the love and energy.

He came out with a Christmas album in 1960, this is from the album, the hit song on it was Christmas everywhere
very hard album to find to, look on Ebay its there but a but $$
worth it!
