Ok, THIS is my favorite AD episode so far. I love the focus on family and making the home functional and livable and cozy. I can tell that these children have great life here and don't feel like an impediment to their parents fancy home like some of these celebrities
I love that Gen's very chill at home comfort and style is felt throughout the house. And Jared's vibe is one of a kind. Unmatched by anyone I have yet to meet. A true Texas gentleman to his very core. I was fortunate to have met him, Jensen, Misha and Mark. And to my very big surprise they all helped my, now husband, to my surprise pop the question in Chicago 2017. And their awesome photographer Chris captured it all on film. A home that looks and feels like a home...even down to the little details of the stickers all over the kids beds, things that are broken - the outdoor ice machine, and their incredibly down to Earth personalities. I loved that things were high end...but not outrageous, like the Ralph Lauren pillows, an old patched chaise lounge, re-using their kids furniture and that things get messy. Probably the most normal celeb couple I've ever seen. Jared knocking stuff off the wall and his obsession with ice makers was charming. They probably have the house in the neighborhood where all the kids are.
"Architectural" doesn't just mean how it's decorated. I LOVED Jared explaining the air conditioning and the vents and i wanted to hear all that he had to say about it. i have vents that are too loud...dang, i wish he hadn't been interrupted. so yes, genevieve, some of us DO Want to hear about the AC.
The irony was to then discuss patterns on throw pillows. The most accurate difference between men & women in relationships. Let me tell you about this air conditioning unit to look at the pattern of this pillow with the pattern of this couch...

this is the best HOME I've seen so far... it feels so familiar, welcoming an cozy. Very good taste, perfect lighting, furniture, colors, the BACKYARD, everything is perfect. I loved it a 100%. It will surely be an inspiration for my future house (sure not as expensive and big, but the essence is what matters). I love how they just fixed and covered the holes on their chaise rather than replacing or reupholstering it hahah made it so much more homey and lived in. (Well, nothing says lived in more than a patched up chair!)
Things like that separate the celebrities from the people. Sure, both Jared and Gen are actors and have money between them, but the choices they make reflect down to earth simplicity. The chickens, the herbs, fruits and vegetables. The attention not just to beauty, but to functionality where their kids can be kids and still take pride in the home they have created for their family. Love it!
I like how mature this family home design is. There is not too much of dad or mom space over their kids' spaces or family space. It's fun to see some actors home tour as they know how to use their space and furnitures to tell a story. It makes me want to see more acting from Jared as a dad in well written screen plays.

This is not my style at all but it caught me off-guard because I adore it all. It's so warm and calming. Yes, it is very dark but when it's so hot it would be refreshing and cool and then in winter it would be warm and cozy with the fire on. I obviously don't know Jared in person lol but 15:09 brought tears to my eyes, because I always felt him such a sweet, decent, polite, kind guy from Supernatural's season 1. Now to see him with Gen, who both met on the show, rejoice at this dream home, with kids, peaceful and exquisite atmosphere...I got kind emotional from the feeling of how they deserve to enjoy it all. S2 Ps: I'm not any less fangirling just because I am some boy fan from seasons 1-5. Stopped keeping up it with, but it is beautiful how long they've come.

It is so incredibly obvious how much these two are in love with each other and just how much they love their children and when they remodeled and designed their home it was all about bringing their family together so they would all feel so cozy, comfortable and secure. Every single square inch of their home, inside and out, is for family togetherness & fun! Their children will never have to worry about walking on eggshells in their home. Heck, I want to go back to being a kid and be raised by Gen & Jared!!
First off- air conditioning IS important - especially when you hit menopause (you’ve got a ways to go, Gen, but you’ll be SO GLAD for it then). Secondly- your home is so lovely. I’m so used to seeing celebrity homes that are decorated in whites and tans, beiges, with loads of crystal and glass- they look like offices or museums, not homes. Gen has a tendency to shut Jared down, she tends to cut him off and tell him that he is either speaking too much when he isn't, or tell him that his contributions or interests are not important. I have seen 5 videos of them, and she has done this in all 5. Just saying.
Somehow Jensen and Jared's home are so similar kind of vibe but their homes are unique in their own way at the same time. It kind of gives me the same cozy kind of vibe. I miss Supernatural :(
Jensen and Jared's home is not even close to similar....Just watch two videos side by side, and you will see that the difference is night and day. Jensen entire house is literally mechanical, which is meant only for show and then living... There is nothing practical in it, especially for the house with three young kids. Hell, there bias treatment towards JJ was clearly visible. Infact the comment section in itself tells you how impractical that house is and how awkward Ackles are. Not a single thing in that house is meant for kids.

I love how their entire their entire upstairs is dedicated to their children. And how their children have their own styled rooms. It looks very much like a lived in house. It is probably one of my favourites I've seen.

this is the best HOME I've seen so far... it feels so familiar, welcoming an cozy. Very good taste, perfect lighting, furniture, colors, the BACKYARD, everything is perfect. I loved it a 100%. It will surely be an inspiration for my future house (sure not as expensive and big, but the essence is what matters). It's a home that does not make you feel like you're gonna break something anytime. It's safe. I loved it for real! ♡ Also they're such a charming couple. Love them and I'm so happy for them. ♡

I love how they just fixed and covered the holes on their chaise rather than replacing or reupholstering it hahah made it so much more homey and lived in. (Well, nothing says lived in more than a patched up chair!)
Things like that separate the celebrities from the people. Sure, both Jared and Gen are actors and have money between them, but the choices they make reflect down to earth simplicity. The chickens, the herbs, fruits and vegetables. The attention not just to beauty, but to functionality where their kids can be kids and still take pride in the home they have created for their family. Love it!
I like how mature this family home design is. There is not too much of dad or mom space over their kids' spaces or family space. It's fun to see some actors home tour as they know how to use their space and furnitures to tell a story. It makes me want to see more acting from Jared as a dad in well written screen plays.

This is not my style at all but it caught me off-guard because I adore it all. It's so warm and calming. Yes, it is very dark but when it's so hot it would be refreshing and cool and then in winter it would be warm and cozy with the fire on. I'm learning wallpaper is amazing and their backyard is perfection. Beautiful home with a beautiful family. Loved it!

This is my favorite house! I’ve seen a lot of AD tours, and none of them have been so real, charming, authentic, and unpretentious. This house is gorgeous. They are a charming couple too. The thought they’ve put into their home is wonderful.
This is how you spend money and time to create and maintain intimate relationships by curating wholesome experiences and memories for a lifetime. This commitment is evident in the use of artefacts, motifs, symmetry, design, organisation, harmony and enjoyment in the space. I like that house and grounds served the occupants of the home rather than was styled to pay homage to a particular brand, aesthetic, artist, period or movement.

I obviously don't know Jared in person lol but 15:09 brought tears to my eyes, because I always felt him such a sweet, decent, polite, kind guy from Supernatural's season 1. Now to see him with Gen, who both met on the show, rejoice at this dream home, with kids, peaceful and exquisite atmosphere...I got kind emotional from the feeling of how they deserve to enjoy it all. S2 Ps: I'm not any less fangirling just because I am some boy fan from seasons 1-5. Stopped keeping up it with, but it is beautiful how long they've come.
Nice to sometimes see a celebrity couple that are really a good fit, both beautiful and kind people ( their kids came into this world with a good-looking-guarantee!), down to earth and make the kind of home real people would want. Makes me wish them the best of luck in both life and career.

I love how down to earth they are. Like something gets torn by kids and they fix it themselves instead of just going out and buying new.it was real nice to see them be so down to earth and most famous people say they are but very few show they are.
This is the most beautiful and normal at the same time house from these series. I love the vegetable garden and the chickens! And it is so cozy and homie. Not like all the other big designer mansions.

It is so incredibly obvious how much these two are in love with each other and just how much they love their children and when they remodeled and designed their home it was all about bringing their family together so they would all feel so cozy, comfortable and secure. Every single square inch of their home, inside and out, is for family togetherness & fun! Their children will never have to worry about walking on eggshells in their home. Heck, I want to go back to being a kid and be raised by Gen & Jared!!
First off- air conditioning IS important - especially when you hit menopause (you’ve got a ways to go, Gen, but you’ll be SO GLAD for it then). Secondly- your home is so lovely. I’m so used to seeing celebrity homes that are decorated in whites and tans, beiges, with loads of crystal and glass- they look like offices or museums, not homes. Your hone is so colorful & cozy, perfect for a family. Thanks for sharing!!!

Gen has a tendency to shut Jared down, she tends to cut him off and tell him that he is either speaking too much when he isn't, or tell him that his contributions or interests are not important.
I have seen 5 videos of them, and she has done this in all 5. Just saying.
Somehow Jensen and Jared's home are so similar kind of vibe but their homes are unique in their own way at the same time. It kind of gives me the same cozy kind of vibe. I miss Supernatural :(

Jensen and Jared's home is not even close to similar....Just watch two videos side by side, and you will see that the difference is night and day. Jensen entire house is literally mechanical, which is meant only for show and then living... There is nothing practical in it, especially for the house with three young kids. Hell, there bias treatment towards JJ was clearly visible. Infact the comment section in itself tells you how impractical that house is and how awkward Ackles are. Not a single thing in that house is meant for kids.

I've met them. They're cool and they've got a nice house by the looks of it. One I actually wouldn't mind spending time in...unlike some of the other ones that have been in this series, which feel a bit more like a museum than a house.
