It's so tragic that she didn't love herself as much as we all love her.... RIP Karen - even after all these years, you are still missed. I loved Christmas nothing could take away the beauty I saw and heard . I miss that and I miss my family. The world turned out to be a lot different than my innocent mind saw it. Karen had a very unique voice, it was so mellow and beautiful. I feel awful when I think about what happened to her. She was so outstanding and she just could not see it so tragic. We all love and miss you !

Was there ever a Christmas song sung more beautifully than this? Karen was a blazing shooting star, who’s light was glimpsed but for a moment, before burning out and leaving us. But whose light shines bright in our memories even all these years later. Her beautiful contra alto vocals and depth of inflected emotion in her tone will never be topped, and it’s what makes this my favorite Christmas song of all time. To me, this song IS Christmas, and it brings with it all the wonderful memories of all the Christmas’s past when this song would be in the background as we shared our joy, warmth and merriment. She left us way to soon, but may the gift of her music live forever. Merry Christmas 🎁🎄
