People will disagree but I’m fed up with all the same crap he comes out with. But 100% this is by miles his best interview. But let’s be honest after 13 games no one see this situation. I genuinely was so excited when he and NC took over. If he keeps us up then it’s pointless trying to find anyone else. It’s about time Colchester as a club gave managers more than 6 months. I was anti sacking Garner… bottom line is we can’t always blame the managers! I’d be shocked in the 13 games they have been in charge if any other team has won less games. Overall good interview and I like his more personal emotional side. But averaging a point a game you have to take a look in the mirror football wise. The structure of the club has to be changed where it is manager based not player based. They have got so many managers the sack. This time round it has to be the players that go, Regardless of if DC is the rite man. The tide must change now.
Wrexham fan here, relieved to come away with a victory and genuinely hope that you stay up. Friendly supporters before the game, enjoyed the atmosphere outside and on that first 60 minutes just like your manager has said here, you were the better team. And a free programme was a nice gesture, nothing but praise for you as a club on this evidence.

I was pleased to see the goalkeeper kicking the ball out instead of trying to play the ball out from the back & more crosses going in from the wing & just outside the centre circle. But the finishing is still dire !
Totally agree with all the boss said, but we just need to take more of our chances and it could have been 2-0 and no way back for Wrexham. Best I have seen us play for most of the game but again we fall apart sorry to say. On a positive note those around also lost but we need to make the most of our games in hand starting Tuesday night. Onwards upwards🎉🎉🎉
Great comments by DC but playing 2 forwards with no pace and 2 goals between them this season was asking for trouble. Akinde can no longer run. At least we finally have a manager we can trust. Up the U’s
He does some really good things like he has made us harder to beat. Also at times we have the better of the game against most teams. But then like you say he plays 2/3 players that you know can’t contribute in that position
There is something rotten in this club. Its crept in over at least 10 years. Like Ipswich up the road we need an utter clear out. Owners, staff, squad.. otherwise nothing you do is going to change things
Colchester were the team that came out physical. They fouled us consistently first half. We were poor and we always struggle against physical teams but we stood up and kept going. The truth is we didn’t wake up until we went behind. At that point our players matched the physicality and pushed a bit harder. It wasn’t a quality performance but that’s rarely what’s needed against a team fighting for their lives. I didn’t enjoy that interview. If he was my manager I’d be looking to get out of his club. We are a quality side and Colchester did indeed look the stronger team first half. That said, the way he had them playing for that game left them open if we coped with their physicality. I’m proud that our players kept their heads up against not only the abuse they took but the inept way the officials ran the game. How the ref can book Evans but let practically all of their fouls go without bookings is just worrying 😬 There’s a big fight to be fought at the bottom of the league. I think despite their great comeback recently FGR are going down. Who goes with them is another matter but a manager getting stuck into his players like that on social media doesn’t fill me with confidence and I’m sure it doesn’t with the players either.
Easy to say when you're side win most games, we've been through this all season and Danny no matter our results has been very very positive and hasn't changed, this is the first time he's expressed how poor they were and provided it's on occasion there's nothing wrong with that. As for your performance I thought you were poor, if you go up we'll keep your seat warm for when you come back down

A mid table finish, if we go up, would be a big achievement because we’re nowhere near the quality of the top 6/7 teams atm. I think defensively you’re not bad, certainly higher than national league standard… but… there was very little threat up front even against a team that, frankly, looked like we’d been on the beer all night. You’re right though, if we go up we’ll do well to stay up because it’s a big step. I’ll tell you what though… if you go down below prepared for a long wait before you get back up because the NL is the hardest league to get promotion from. I don’t think you will, I had FGR to get relegated at the start of the season, there’s little between you, Sutton and Grimsby and you have the games in had. Good luck for the run in.
I wouldn't look to get out of the club... I'd look to make amends. Show some character and balls. Danny is totally right. Better team for an hour but you can't take your foot off the pedal. The need for a striker has been there all season especially now that our top scorer left on NY day.

This is why, wherever we finish at the end of the season, we need Danny and Nicky leading us going forward.
