Thanks for the reaction ! If you try Imperium and Kaiserion as you said, be sure to listen to them in that order since Imperium is literally the opening of Kaiserion ☺️the entire Impera album is a masterpiece (I love Twenties) Take care !
This song is written on bass. That's really cool. The drums is also awesome. Ludvig Kennberg plays it on this album. He has his own UA-cam channel where he has some Ghost playthrough videos.
The bass goes without saying, but I really love the drumming here. I find it quite an original groove. It's a pitty that the live ghoul doesn't recreate it exactly the same way.
Good one, again 🙂 this is a very bass driven and riffy song. Produced by Klas Åhlund, the very same producer as with their latest album, "Impera".. This is from the 3rd studio album called "Meliora" which is Latin for "the pursuit of something better". The theme of the album is the absence of god. (Last song of the album is "Deus in absentia". Latin for "in the absence of god"). Although it's the same person producing this album, as the latest album, the band members as well as the sheer number of musicians are totally different, creating a sound "palette" from "Meliora" that is totally different then from "Impera". The song is clearly referencing Satan's exile from heaven, but also has some elements of Icarus to it. The song is in 4/4, and the figures are mostly variants on 16ths with some syncopation that keeps the tempo up and creates a "marching" feeling. Looking forward to "Imperium / Kaisarion" 🙂🤘
Great reaction 😄 And as others have said, Cirice (a person in the music video says the name that is the pronunciation) is a great song and they even won a Grammy for it. Thx for a good video
You should analyze Cirice, its THE homage to Black Sabbaths first album doom metal sound, and the 70s horror movie Carrrie. Its also one of a few songs by Ghost that prominently features a Kettle Drum, which ive heard very few reviewers actually pick up on.
Someone correct me if I'm wrong here, but isn't that Our Guy on bass? In fact, has he Ever had anyone else in the studio on bass (or do we know)? Just an idea to consider 🤔 I love the analysis and you seem to truly get and enjoy the music. So here are recommends:: Can't miss with Cirice ("sir-EES", yw) Faith Mary on a Cross, Live in Tampa Rats Mummy Dust Lookin' forward to your reaction to Imperium/Kaisarion! Cheers! 🔥👻🔥 Honestly the catalog is so deep, you can't miss.
I really enjoy your videos, they are high quality and in depth and it’s crazy how you aren’t getting more views! Keep it up and I know you’ll gain a huge following
If you're going to do Imperium then you HAVE to do Respite on the Spatialfields, they are connected.😉 More than Imperium and Kaisarion, in my opinion. If you really wanna have fun, you can throw in Bite of Passage before Respite. (That transition is really satisfying)
I've said it before and I'll keep saying it, Ghost's worst song would be some band's best song.

I've enjoyed what you have done with Ghost
All time Papa's showing in a music video, i'm like a teen girl seeing Justin Bieber 😅 Got massive goosebumps each times 👌 Forge's such a icon 🤟

Listen to Year Zero.
I would like to hear your dissection of Eisbrecher's "Fakk" :)
