New rule for NFL Fans: Just because a young QB fails with the Jets, we can no longer assume they're a total bust. Geno Smith emerged in Seattle as an above average starter. Darnold is looking like he could be a top 5 QB. Does this mean Zach Wilson can be redeemed? Probably! I figured before the season Darnold would demonstrate he could be like Geno and play well. But this? Totally amazing! And I love to see it. Darnold has never once come across as a diva or jerk. Here's hoping this is just the start of several years of great play.
The funny thing is, while NFL fans _act like_ they don't understand a Single Aspect of play-calling, sometimes the form of their denials prove otherwise. Then a staffer (who obviously didn't realize this was intentional) said that Tomlin told them he was benching Fields *because* he wasn't throwing to receivers down the field. Gee, it's just too bad Fields & Tomlin are never at the same place at the same time or have access to phones so Tomlin could have asked Fields "what's up with that?" Nope, he just had to bench his starter, had no choice in the matter.

MN has been finding diamonds in the rough for a while with Kaprizov, Gustavsson, and now Darnold. I wasn't surprised to be honest. Also, I just found your channel, and damn, you have talent man.
Yes, I agree in principle re JJ, but he has to prove that he is better than Sam, and there is a chance that he may not be. KOC should figure it out by 2026, and trading away the odd one out should set the team up for another 5 years.
Extremely well put together video. You should get to Hollywood and make some movies. You're content is better than the garbage Hollywood is putting out.
As a Panthers fan I thought you would appreciate that he went 8-9 for you over those 2 seasons whereas all other QBs since are currently 10-40, including Baker's 1-5. If you look at Darnold's fundamentals in Carolina they were solid - his throws on target in 2022 77.1% was comparable to Cousins 76.5% - but that stat is hidden by the more popular completion rate that doesn't account for WR drops, throwaways, batted balls and the likes. Darnold also had a struggling O Line and inferior playmakers at the Panthers - so his solid play was just lost in the mess of a bad team. Give Sam a quality HC, a solid O Line, decent play calls and elite playmakers and that solid play at the Panthers suddenly looked quite functional and efficient. Give Sam 6 months with elite QB coaching and then we start to see that elite talent that the Jets drafted start to appear. Sam was never a bust. Folks just stopped watching him objectively. He has always had great talent, just no one until the 49ers and Vikes had taught him how to play QB.
I think the reason he is also doing so good for us is because we have weapons. All the teams he’s played with before have a bad defense and not many weapons. Most of them had bad o-line too besides to 49ers of course.
Fabulous video. If it wasn’t that I had so much faith in JJ McCarthy, I would be begging the Vikings to go all in with Darnold. Business dictates they use the franchise or transition tag on Darnold and either keep him one more year or trade him, yet my heart just wants the best for him and I won’t be disappointed if the Vikings let him enter free agency with their blessing so that he can maximise his earnings.
Has Sam Darnold changed the narrative of his career?

Incredible story telling! I love how in all your videos, you bring to light the humanness of everybody you cover. Thank you for showing how these athletes are so much more than just their wins/loses and on field performance. Keep up the great work!
I saw it coming. Darnold could win big games with those terrible Jets now and then. The eye test said he had good potential but a terrible team. Also, people misunderstood the seeing ghosts thing - mono can make you hallucinate.
As a Packers fan I wish Darnold nothing but success except 2 to 3 times a year. If the Pack don't go all the way I will be pulling for the Vikings. I know, I know, as a Packer fan I'm not supposed to admit that.
MN has been finding diamonds in the rough for a while with Kaprizov, Gustavsson, and now Darnold. I wasn't surprised to be honest. Also, I just found your channel, and damn, you have talent man.
Amazing video. The narration was spot on
gotta respect darnold, love a comeback story
Wow, this was an epic video. And if the ultimate ending happens in a few weeks, what a Cinderella story this truly will be!
JJ McCarthy going to be the future Viking qb, I can see Sam darnold signing a 3 year contract and let McCarthy rehab his knee
Yes, I agree in principle re JJ, but he has to prove that he is better than Sam, and there is a chance that he may not be. KOC should figure it out by 2026, and trading away the odd one out should set the team up for another 5 years.
Where on Earth do you find these high quality slow motion shots! Another incredible video by just "another sports channel".
you should have way more subs than 25k these are the best productions I've ever seen.
Extremely well put together video. You should get to Hollywood and make some movies. You're content is better than the garbage Hollywood is putting out.
Thought this was a million sub+ channel with the quality of the video, incredibly underrated, good stuff
Dude this was a really good video. Thanks for the Vikings love
As a life long (40 year) Viking fan, we’re so proud and happy for him and the whole team KOC/Flores included.
Best sports-related video I have seen in a long time. Well done.
The quality of this video in every way is amazing.
Great points! I briefly touched on it but you're right, could've gone more in depth.
Brother nice show, I thought I was listening to Steve Sabol on NFL channel, nice job.
Thanks!
Appreciate it brother!
I’m a Lions fan but I just love the story of Sam Darnold. I’m rooting for him, just not against my Lions. Also, great video!
Nice video. Love from from the Minnesota. SKOL TO THE BOWL.
amazing video keep going had chills after that ending
He was better than average in 2022, actually, going 4-2 with talent-starved Panthers. Seven TDs, 3 picks.
Yes, that's the step that everyone missed. He nearly made the playoffs then, and that would probably have changed things.
, Jets can destroy any player's career.
nice video dude just straight up facts and nothing negative about anyone great vid man
I think the reason he is also doing so good for us is because we have weapons. All the teams he’s played with before have a bad defense and not many weapons. Most of them had bad o-line too besides to 49ers of course.
I’ve been waiting for this video for a long time! SKOL
This is some high quality content sir 🫡
Great video 👍🏻
Stay crushing. Another well done video
Kirk Cousins leaving was the best thing that ever happened to the Vikings and the worst thing for the Falcons.
Dude..this was an incredible video.
Skol baby! Got a sub for that one! Great video!
