Not every Christian is going to have the same life in heaven? Isn't that works based if in heaven one christian has a mansion while another has a shack? I don't understand how that works?
@@Katherine-gq9fm It's true! Our salvation isn't works based but how we live in the afterlife is. John goes through all the scripture and explains it all in an earlier podcast called, "You've been lied to about Heaven." That video sheds a lot of light on it.
I know the bible says how we are gonna be like angels and not marry. So my question is what will our relationships with our wife's, brothers, and sisters be like?
I remember when I heard Gods voice audibly! When the devil was coming as an angel of light and offered me riches and fame… I spiritually had a knowing that this was a contract and I remember I bowed my head and before the words even finished in my mind!! I said “God is this you” and he responded before I finished the last word and he said “this is someone pretending to be God”.

The lord took me to heaven yrs ago and showed me my twin daughters who past away before birth. They looked to be 7 yrs old and were playing in the crystal clear slow moving River you're describing. The Glory of the lord lite up the sky and glistened off the water. The green grass was so lush and beautiful unlike anything I had ever seen. Off in the distance I saw the kingdom of God in golden domes that no man could have built.

I died in 98, saw my dad. I lost all my blood while in hospital surgery gone wrong nicked artery that burst later. After life support and waking up I remember after they put me to sleep, me thinking I'd never wake up again cause it took 2 bags of blood just to keep me alive to o.r. .I lost all my blood I was born with and died on table, got pneumonia and a embolism, Dr said NO BUT JESUS SAID DIFFERENT THATwas 26 yrs ago. So after I'm off life support I see a escalator with about 6 ppl all black and one white man all grouped close on that escalator ..so I tell my b.f. look at them bunches up on the escalator,he said Hun NO escalator pulls curtain back and it's just nurse station..I go back to sleep nurse comes in and he tells her what I saw..SHE says there was a black man died bout 10 min ago, THEN SHE SAID WHEN SOMEONE HAS DIED LIKE SHE DID THEY CAN SEE THINGS WE CANT..SHE SAID IVE SAW THIS BEFORE .SO AFTER THAT THINGS CHANGE AND I HAVE FEELINGS AND USUALLY DREAMS, BUT THE FEELINGS MADE ME PHYSICAL SICK. I KNEW SOMETHING BAD WOULD HAPPEN SOON...BUT I NEVER KNEW WHO IT WAS ABOUT..THIS WAS FRUSTRATING CAUSE I COULDNT TELL ANYONE. Even if Heaven would be only about clouds, songs, service, and worshipping, I would rather my eternity like this with Jesus than being in hell, burning, tortured, and no rest, forever away from God and forgotten by Him, Nope, I want to spend my eternity where Christ Jesus is ❤

When J.B. Phillips initially did his translation of the Bible it was released book by book. My Father-in-Law gave me a set before passing away. I was intensely struck by the forward to Revelation that Phillips wrote. He talked about how when he had translated the gospel of John that the Greek was grammatically correct, polished Greek. When he started to translate Revelation he was initially skeptical that it really was John who wrote it because the sentence structure was a mess, the writing had none of the polish of the gospel of John. Then he realized that here was a first century person madly scribbling down things that he was seeing that completely blew his mind - frantically trying to describe a world that was so unlike anything in his experience! Truly, that echoes with what you folks have brought out here. Thank you.

Everyone is not God's children. His creation? Yes, but NOT His children until we are saved by faith alone in Jesus Christ alone and adopted into God's family. Paul was talking to Christians who he knew and who were already God's children by their faith.

He claims Christians need to look ahead to the eternal future or whatever? He seems to be contradicting what Jesus said in Matthew 6:34 You brought up a good point too. Jesus even said he does not pray for the world, but he prays for those that are given to him. I won't be listening to this youtube channel.

Wow, he explained it correctly when I died, my spirit or soul went down. I was not a believer, and it was like I woke up from a dream, but I knew my body was up there and there was no hope where I was Jesus wasn’t there, so there was no hope thank the Lord. I’m still alive today to praise his name.
I have no idea what heaven is going to be like but i cannot put into words how excited i am to see it. I dont watch the trailers to movies i want to watch so everything in it is a surprise. I try to keep heaven the same way which makes me even more excited to go there.

I’m thirty-three years old in two weeks. I find it no coincidence Christ is knocking on my brain at that age in this time. Where do I go from here? I’ve heard much but implemented little. What a blessing it is from the Lord that you are made aware. Just seek the Lord for who He is..not a list of things u do to check off. His Holy Spirit will guide u. Read the Bible to discover the character of Christ..who He is...the Spirit will move and lead u. Also Uncle John has some amazing books to help develop our walk in Christ. Also finding a Bible believing church to walk with u is great too. Ask the Lord to give u the strength to break the things that need to be broken and pick up His nature. Praying with u
Ask God to help you walk on His timeline, and ask Him what He wants you to be doing. You may have to fast and pray even for 1 day? I’m not sure, but talk to the Lord about it.

As much as we talked about heaven, we still have to remember, the a thousand years where the saints will reign with Christ Jesus on this earth, after that, there will be the great white throne judgement, then there will be a new earth, and a new heaven, with new age where things are superior to anything we have known. “But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, Neither have entered into the heart of man, The things which God hath prepared for them that love him.” 1 Corinthians 2:9 KJV
You forgot that satan will be released again, at the end of the thousand years, to deceive as many as he can, again! It gives no time frame of how long that will go on, but he and his children will be destroyed again!!!
I think they talked about the 1000 reign. It’s seems like they want to mention more about the new earth and heaven in the episode about Jesus’s second coming. Anyways, I always wondered why people at the end of the 1000 year will betray God again. It makes me so sad, because they have lived in a perfect millennium and have tasted what being with Christ forever will be like and they betray him.
@@skalias815 I have wondered that as well, but I remembered the scriptures said that satan will be released for a short time to go about deceiving nations, as a choice for those who have been born in the 1000 years, before an end is put, on evil and darkness forever. Satan will get his kingdom in the lake of fire forever, makes me sad that there will be more people going there, than those who will end up in the Kingdom of our Christ, the Lord Jesus.
It's so sad to hear people, including my own family members, say that they don't want to just sit and float around on clouds and play harps "forever". I try so hard to explain to them that that is not what Heaven will be, but they just don't and won't believe. I just told my daughter that there IS an "Eternal" life, but we have to CHOOSE which one we want. Eternity with God in Heaven or Eternity in Hell with Satan! Those are our choices...there are NO OTHERS, but God will not MAKE US come to him, because he gave all us FREE WILL TO CHOOSE.

Praise The Lord! We prayed for Törben & TLR to realise that in Jesus's Eyes, His Body is One in Him. And He wants the grace He has given one part, to be shared and to impact other parts. People need to think that if some group of people over there are actually in Christ, connected to Him, and have His Spirit in them, then we love them. Full stop. That is His commandment. We bring the full force of love into that relationship. That's His desire. And I don't mean compromising love. I mean love as taught by The Lord, and His first set of apostles.

Even Paul was not allowed to speak of what he saw when he was taken to the 3rd heaven. I’m very skeptical of anyone who professes that they’ve been taken to heaven and seen things.
It is definitely understandable to be sceptical and we have to discern visions, outer body experiences and prophecies. Because there are many false testimonies out there. However what do you think of the scripture 2 Corinthians 12:2-4 “I know a man in Christ who fourteen years ago was caught up to the third heaven. Whether it was in the body or out of the body I do not know-God knows. 3 And I know that this man-whether in the body or apart from the body I do not know, but God knows- 4 was caught up to paradise and heard inexpressible things, things that no one is permitted to tell.” It’s not about Paul going to the 3rd heaven but it is an unknown man that went there. So the possibility of it happening seems possible.

Living for this moment this day is a tool used in recovery circles use to get through the drug addiction or alcohol withdrawal. In order for Moses and Elijah to appear on the mount of transfiguration with Jesus, they had to travel from 2 different historical times into the future. Perhaps they were on the same mountain in different years and Jesus appeared to them even as the disciples were viewing them in the present.🤔

Isaiah 43:18-19 in the Bible says, "Remember ye not the former things, or loved ones you will not know them, self explanatory,neither consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing; now shall it spring forth; shall ye not know it?"G-D doesn't discribe exactly what our bodies will look like,
He already came twice. First by birth, and second after his resurrection he had to ascend to heaven, present himself before God, and return as flesh and bone. So I wish Christians would dispense of Christianity and adopt Scripture instead of dispensationism.
I am disturbed by Christians that claim to have “out of body experiences”. Where are these experiences recorded in scripture with the exception of a couple of the apostles?
2 Corinthians 12:2 “ I knew a man in Christ above fourteen years ago, (whether in the body, I cannot tell; or whether out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth;) such an one caught up to the third heaven.” Ezekiel 8:3 “And he put forth the form of an hand, and took me by a lock of mine head; and the spirit lifted me up between the earth and the heaven, and brought me in the visions of God to Jerusalem, to the door of the inner gate that looketh toward the north; where was the seat of the image of jealousy, which provoketh to jealousy.” Read books in the Bible that involve the prophets. You’ll mainly see it with them. God is sovereign and he can do as he pleases with his children. NDEs aren’t the only out of body experiences. When I first started worshiping God and pursuing him he gave me an out of body experience and revealed truth to me about the future. He also gives me visions, and prophetic dreams. If you choose not to receive from God, he won’t force it on you. Spiritual gifts from God are real.
Hey, I totally get your confusion. I used to love watching out of body testimonies but the more I watched the more skeptical I became because not all of them were the same and even non-Christians said they went to heaven. So I was personally very confused and I even doubted if all these testimonies were even true. So anyways, I still believe it’s possible and I will show you a scripture about something similar to it. The scripture is 2 Corinthians 12:2-4 “I know a man in Christ who fourteen years ago was caught up to the third heaven-whether in the body or out of the body I do not know, God knows. And I know that this man was caught up into paradise-whether in the body or out of the body I do not know, God knows- and he heard things that cannot be told, which man may not utter.” So the Man that Paul talks about here is unknown but apparently he was caught up in Paradise. So even though there is a possibility that outer body visions or seeing heaven can happen, we have to test these things just like we test prophecies. We know there are false prophecies out there, so in the same way there are also false outer body experiences as well. Even if we believe in this experiences, they can never be above to word of God. These experiences should encourage us but if these experiences don’t line up with what the Bible said, it’s better to discard it. So we should always discern visions, out of body experiences, prophecies etc. I hope this answers your question, also if something confuses you, you don’t have to be involved. If outer body experiences just causes you to be disturbed you don’t have to be involved in it and you can just look forward to heaven by what the Bible describes it to be.
@@skalias815 I believe Paul was speaking of himself in the third person. He was caught up in what is described as an out of body experience. So, again this is a self described account by an apostle who was also afflicted with a thorn in his flesh (v.7). The Word will never contradict -see John 1:18 “no man has seen God at anytime “
@@iancraig3020 I don’t see how he can talk about it in third person when the verse after says that he would not boast about himself but would about this Man. Wouldn’t that be a contradiction if he was still talking about himself? Here is the verse I mean: “I will boast about a man like that, but I will not boast about myself, except about my weaknesses.” 2 Corinthians 12:5 Him saying I will boast about a man like that but will not boast about myself, Paul is clearly separating himself from this man. So I don’t think it is a third person account.

I'm not sure why so many Christians quote Isaiah 11 as the lamb will lay with the lion. I've heard and believed it over 25 yrs till it was brought to my attention there's nowhere in scripture that declares it that way. Now the message isn't lost with this error and the point is still on par. But I would hope that long time ministers would make sure when publicly quoting the word that they have it double checked & confirmed. It could take all the truth they shared and cause some doubt from those of us students. It actually says this. ... Is 11:6 The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid. ITS NOT A LION BUT A WOLF. ive tried to find it myself but to no avail. I was convinced it said the lion from hearing it quoted by so many for so long. It just goes to show when we're trained up and taught by others and hear something said by multiple ppl, we too become influenced and start believing we actually read it for ourselves. We can even find very old art depictions of a lion and lamb so the quote goes back.
And your comment is WHY my whole foundation had to be ripped out and started over. In MY ignorance, I believed everything a pastor said. I figured, he's the pastor, he SHOULD know all things. God had to separate me and I was horrified when the TRUTH was shown to me in all areas. Filled with gratitude that my foundation is now the ROCK. You did not put the whole verse of Isaiah 11:6 “The wolf will live with the lamb, the leopard will lie down with the goat, the calf and the lion and the yearling together; and a little child will lead them.” Lion is still included in Isaiah 11:6, so I’m not understanding the confusion. Also the child is leading these animals. Honestly it seems like the confusion here is just what translation people are reading because there a slight differences.

Do we go straight to heaven or into a sleeping state until Jesus comes?
Not every Christian is going to have the same life in heaven? Isn't that works based if in heaven one christian has a mansion while another has a shack? I don't understand how that works?
@@Katherine-gq9fm It's true! Our salvation isn't works based but how we live in the afterlife is. John goes through all the scripture and explains it all in an earlier podcast called, "You've been lied to about Heaven." That video sheds a lot of light on it.
I know the bible says how we are gonna be like angels and not marry. So my question is what will our relationships with our wife's, brothers, and sisters be like?

I remember when I heard Gods voice audibly! When the devil was coming as an angel of light and offered me riches and fame… I spiritually had a knowing that this was a contract and I remember I bowed my head and before the words even finished in my mind!! I said “God is this you” and he responded before I finished the last word and he said “this is someone pretending to be God”.
I got filled with the Holy Spirit listening to the relentless curriculum in 2014. This is a true man of God!!! They sent me free books when I was in prison. Please stay consistent and reap your harvest!

The lord took me to heaven yrs ago and showed me my twin daughters who past away before birth. They looked to be 7 yrs old and were playing in the crystal clear slow moving River you're describing. The Glory of the lord lite up the sky and glistened off the water. The green grass was so lush and beautiful unlike anything I had ever seen. Off in the distance I saw the kingdom of God in golden domes that no man could have built.

I died in 98, saw my dad. I lost all my blood while in hospital surgery gone wrong nicked artery that burst later. After life support and waking up I remember after they put me to sleep, me thinking I'd never wake up again cause it took 2 bags of blood just to keep me alive to o.r. .I lost all my blood I was born with and died on table, got pneumonia and a embolism, Dr said NO BUT JESUS SAID DIFFERENT THATwas 26 yrs ago. So after I'm off life support I see a escalator with about 6 ppl all black and one white man all grouped close on that escalator ..so I tell my b.f. look at them bunches up on the escalator,he said Hun NO escalator pulls curtain back and it's just nurse station..I go back to sleep nurse comes in and he tells her what I saw..SHE says there was a black man died bout 10 min ago, THEN SHE SAID WHEN SOMEONE HAS DIED LIKE SHE DID THEY CAN SEE THINGS WE CANT..SHE SAID IVE SAW THIS BEFORE .SO AFTER THAT THINGS CHANGE AND I HAVE FEELINGS AND USUALLY DREAMS, BUT THE FEELINGS MADE ME PHYSICAL SICK. I KNEW SOMETHING BAD WOULD HAPPEN SOON...BUT I NEVER KNEW WHO IT WAS ABOUT..THIS WAS FRUSTRATING CAUSE I COULDNT TELL ANYONE. Even if Heaven would be only about clouds, songs, service, and worshipping, I would rather my eternity like this with Jesus than being in hell, burning, tortured, and no rest, forever away from God and forgotten by Him, Nope, I want to spend my eternity where Christ Jesus is ❤

When J.B. Phillips initially did his translation of the Bible it was released book by book. My Father-in-Law gave me a set before passing away.
I was intensely struck by the forward to Revelation that Phillips wrote.
He talked about how when he had translated the gospel of John that the Greek was grammatically correct, polished Greek.
When he started to translate Revelation he was initially skeptical that it really was John who wrote it because the sentence structure was a mess, the writing had none of the polish of the gospel of John.
Then he realized that here was a first century person madly scribbling down things that he was seeing that completely blew his mind - frantically trying to describe a world that was so unlike anything in his experience!
Truly, that echoes with what you folks have brought out here.

He claims Christians need to look ahead to the eternal future or whatever? He seems to be contradicting what Jesus said in Matthew 6:34
You brought up a good point too. Jesus even said he does not pray for the world, but he prays for those that are given to him. I won't be listening to this youtube channel.
Matt6:34is not worrying about tomorrow. And John is talking about eternal life. It is not contradictory

Wow, he explained it correctly when I died, my spirit or soul went down. I was not a believer, and it was like I woke up from a dream, but I knew my body was up there and there was no hope where I was Jesus wasn’t there, so there was no hope thank the Lord. I’m still alive today to praise his name.

I don’t usually post but I’ve felt God using the message of being eternally minded…but I’ve lived a life of professing Christ yet I’m deeply aware of my own selfishness, my sin, my anger and uselessly used emotions, and how I’ve spent my thirty two years wasting so much time. I’m thirty-three years old in two weeks. I find it no coincidence Christ is knocking on my brain at that age in this time. Where do I go from here? I’ve heard much but implemented little. How do I change this?

What a blessing it is from the Lord that you are made aware. Just seek the Lord for who He is..not a list of things u do to check off. His Holy Spirit will guide u. Read the Bible to discover the character of Christ..who He is...the Spirit will move and lead u. Also Uncle John has some amazing books to help develop our walk in Christ. Also finding a Bible believing church to walk with u is great too. Ask the Lord to give u the strength to break the things that need to be broken and pick up His nature. Praying with u
Ask God to help you walk on His timeline, and ask Him what He wants you to be doing. You may have to fast and pray even for 1 day? I’m not sure, but talk to the Lord about it.

As much as we talked about heaven, we still have to remember, the a thousand years where the saints will reign with Christ Jesus on this earth, after that, there will be the great white throne judgement, then there will be a new earth, and a new heaven, with new age where things are superior to anything we have known. “But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, Neither have entered into the heart of man, The things which God hath prepared for them that love him.” 1 Corinthians 2:9 KJV
You forgot that satan will be released again, at the end of the thousand years, to deceive as many as he can, again! It gives no time frame of how long that will go on, but he and his children will be destroyed again!!!
I think they talked about the 1000 reign. It’s seems like they want to mention more about the new earth and heaven in the episode about Jesus’s second coming.
Anyways, I always wondered why people at the end of the 1000 year will betray God again. It makes me so sad, because they have lived in a perfect millennium and have tasted what being with Christ forever will be like and they betray him.
@@skalias815 I have wondered that as well, but I remembered the scriptures said that satan will be released for a short time to go about deceiving nations, as a choice for those who have been born in the 1000 years, before an end is put, on evil and darkness forever. Satan will get his kingdom in the lake of fire forever, makes me sad that there will be more people going there, than those who will end up in the Kingdom of our Christ, the Lord Jesus.
It's so sad to hear people, including my own family members, say that they don't want to just sit and float around on clouds and play harps "forever". I try so hard to explain to them that that is not what Heaven will be, but they just don't and won't believe.
I just told my daughter that there IS an "Eternal" life, but we have to CHOOSE which one we want. Eternity with God in Heaven or Eternity in Hell with Satan! Those are our choices...there are NO OTHERS, but God will not MAKE US come to him, because he gave all us FREE WILL TO CHOOSE.

Praise The Lord! We prayed for Törben & TLR to realise that in Jesus's Eyes, His Body is One in Him. And He wants the grace He has given one part, to be shared and to impact other parts. People need to think that if some group of people over there are actually in Christ, connected to Him, and have His Spirit in them, then we love them. Full stop. That is His commandment. We bring the full force of love into that relationship. That's His desire. And I don't mean compromising love. I mean love as taught by The Lord, and His first set of apostles.

As a believer I find many of the NDE stories to be fabricated.. some people just want to sell books. How do you determine whose story is true and which are made up?

I can make any statement “line up” with the Word but it still not be true in the sense that it truly happened to me. Therein lies the trouble & skepticism I have with many (not all) stories

Church in America is a constant entertainment for me, with my husband kicking me for snorting/laughing every time a pastor mispronounces uncommon Hebrew nouns or when they try to pronounce a Hebrew word from the Strongs.

Even Paul was not allowed to speak of what he saw when he was taken to the 3rd heaven. I’m very skeptical of anyone who professes that they’ve been taken to heaven and seen things.

It is definitely understandable to be sceptical and we have to discern visions, outer body experiences and prophecies. Because there are many false testimonies out there.
However what do you think of the scripture 2 Corinthians 12:2-4
“I know a man in Christ who fourteen years ago was caught up to the third heaven. Whether it was in the body or out of the body I do not know-God knows. 3 And I know that this man-whether in the body or apart from the body I do not know, but God knows- 4 was caught up to paradise and heard inexpressible things, things that no one is permitted to tell.”
It’s not about Paul going to the 3rd heaven but it is an unknown man that went there. So the possibility of it happening seems possible.

In order for Moses and Elijah to appear on the mount of transfiguration with Jesus, they had to travel from 2 different historical times into the future. Perhaps they were on the same mountain in different years and Jesus appeared to them even as the disciples were viewing them in the present.🤔

He already came twice. First by birth, and second after his resurrection he had to ascend to heaven, present himself before God, and return as flesh and bone. So I wish Christians would dispense of Christianity and adopt Scripture instead of dispensationism.

I am disturbed by Christians that claim to have “out of body experiences”. Where are these experiences recorded in scripture with the exception of a couple of the apostles?
From such stay away. Especially when they teach that Santa Claus is in heaven.
2 Corinthians 12:2 “
I knew a man in Christ above fourteen years ago, (whether in the body, I cannot tell; or whether out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth;) such an one caught up to the third heaven.”
Ezekiel 8:3 “And he put forth the form of an hand, and took me by a lock of mine head; and the spirit lifted me up between the earth and the heaven, and brought me in the visions of God to Jerusalem, to the door of the inner gate that looketh toward the north; where was the seat of the image of jealousy, which provoketh to jealousy.”
Read books in the Bible that involve the prophets. You’ll mainly see it with them. God is sovereign and he can do as he pleases with his children. NDEs aren’t the only out of body experiences. When I first started worshiping God and pursuing him he gave me an out of body experience and revealed truth to me about the future. He also gives me visions, and prophetic dreams. If you choose not to receive from God, he won’t force it on you. Spiritual gifts from God are real.
Hey, I totally get your confusion. I used to love watching out of body testimonies but the more I watched the more skeptical I became because not all of them were the same and even non-Christians said they went to heaven. So I was personally very confused and I even doubted if all these testimonies were even true.
So anyways, I still believe it’s possible and I will show you a scripture about something similar to it. The scripture is 2 Corinthians 12:2-4
“I know a man in Christ who fourteen years ago was caught up to the third heaven-whether in the body or out of the body I do not know, God knows. And I know that this man was caught up into paradise-whether in the body or out of the body I do not know, God knows- and he heard things that cannot be told, which man may not utter.”
So the Man that Paul talks about here is unknown but apparently he was caught up in Paradise.
So even though there is a possibility that outer body visions or seeing heaven can happen, we have to test these things just like we test prophecies. We know there are false prophecies out there, so in the same way there are also false outer body experiences as well. Even if we believe in this experiences, they can never be above to word of God. These experiences should encourage us but if these experiences don’t line up with what the Bible said, it’s better to discard it. So we should always discern visions, out of body experiences, prophecies etc.
I hope this answers your question, also if something confuses you, you don’t have to be involved. If outer body experiences just causes you to be disturbed you don’t have to be involved in it and you can just look forward to heaven by what the Bible describes it to be.
@@skalias815 I believe Paul was speaking of himself in the third person. He was caught up in what is described as an out of body experience. So, again this is a self described account by an apostle who was also afflicted with a thorn in his flesh (v.7). The Word will never contradict -see John 1:18 “no man has seen God at anytime “
@@iancraig3020 I don’t see how he can talk about it in third person when the verse after says that he would not boast about himself but would about this Man. Wouldn’t that be a contradiction if he was still talking about himself?
Here is the verse I mean:
“I will boast about a man like that, but I will not boast about myself, except about my weaknesses.” 2 Corinthians 12:5
Him saying I will boast about a man like that but will not boast about myself, Paul is clearly separating himself from this man. So I don’t think it is a third person account.

I'm not sure why so many Christians quote Isaiah 11 as the lamb will lay with the lion. I've heard and believed it over 25 yrs till it was brought to my attention there's nowhere in scripture that declares it that way. Now the message isn't lost with this error and the point is still on par. But I would hope that long time ministers would make sure when publicly quoting the word that they have it double checked & confirmed. It could take all the truth they shared and cause some doubt from those of us students.

ITS NOT A LION BUT A WOLF. ive tried to find it myself but to no avail. I was convinced it said the lion from hearing it quoted by so many for so long.
It just goes to show when we're trained up and taught by others and hear something said by multiple ppl, we too become influenced and start believing we actually read it for ourselves.
We can even find very old art depictions of a lion and lamb so the quote goes back.
And your comment is WHY my whole foundation had to be ripped out and started over. In MY ignorance, I believed everything a pastor said. I figured, he's the pastor, he SHOULD know all things. God had to separate me and I was horrified when the TRUTH was shown to me in all areas. Filled with gratitude that my foundation is now the ROCK. “The wolf will live with the lamb,
the leopard will lie down with the goat,
the calf and the lion and the yearling together;
and a little child will lead them.”
Lion is still included in Isaiah 11:6, so I’m not understanding the confusion. Also the child is leading these animals. Honestly it seems like the confusion here is just what translation people are reading because there a slight differences.
