This is so good. Second time I hear him preaching message, but the time is right today. I am so hurt and so offended, feeling betrayed, abandoned, dishonored by my daughter and I was blaming God in my heat for not having stopped her with the decision she made. But God respect our choices. And He is not done with me or with her yet. Satan will loose this battle because it belongs to the LORD.

On a recent episode of his show, he shared a letter they found after his mom passed away. It was a letter, a prayer really, of her crying out to the Lord on her son’s behalf. Her prayers were answered but her son shares his perspective as the one lost. I think it’s a tremendous encouragement for us! I pray it blesses you❤
Sitting here with tears running down my face. Thank you Holy Spirit for correcting and guiding me as you always do. Thought I had forgiven and then after being prompted to pray for them I quickly realized there was still offense in my heart. There are no lies you won’t tear down coming after my heart. Excellent message. I had unforgiveness which turned into bitterness and I was turned over to the tormentors. It’s a lot easier to just pray for those people and meet with them if need be and get past it.

I don't know this preacher but in a moment of offense and anger it came up on my feed and took it away those feelings. Listened to it 2 times, And yes all offence even adultery. My wife was (misunderstandingly) offended, her family encouraged her “right” to be offended, and now we’re divorced. She built impenetrable walls to our ruin just like John states. Don’t allow offense to cloud your judgement or it will cost you dearly.

Our pride is the reason it’s so hard to forgive…when we don’t get our way or someone does wrong to us or others. It truly takes the agape of Jesus to view everyone redemptively: to not want them to go to hell or suffer tragedy because they are foolish or selfish or stubborn or just plain sinful and wrong. It’s a huge paradigm shift but once you let go of “me” and view them from the heart of Jesus on the cross, the way you see the world changes.

I really like this message, but then I read Psalm 35, it writes that he had prayed for them in the past tense (prior to the offense) Then David goes back to asking God to not let them be magnified and rejoice over them. So I feel like this was misquoted. Yes we are to love our enemies, but Psalm may not say what you think it says. Not trying to be critical, I went and read the Psalm looking for guidance.

Jesus WAS offended by the money changers, Luke 17 says it is WORSE for those who CAUSE the offense than those who are OFFENDED. What David did DISPLEASED God. Did Uriah have a right to be OFFENDED. It is WORSE for those commit the offense. Jesus PAID the price but it does us NO GOOD without being IN CHRIST. Repent, Reconcile and Restore to The Father in Christ. God says, Matthew 18. If you brother sins, go speak to him privately. Eventually if he DOESNT repent we are told to not even eat with them anymore until they REPENT and turn back to God. Matthew 5:23 23Therefore if you bring your gift to the altar, and there remember that your brother has something against you God DOESNT say the one OFFENDED needs to FORGIVE and act like NOTHING happened. He says the one who COMMITTED the offense needs to go make it right. Zaccheus, made right the PAST wrongs after Zaccheus " received " Jesus. Jesus said, " salvation has come to Zaccheuss home " in response.
There are people who take offenses in like a cat lady, give them forever homes and then they have to feed them and go offense-food shopping... for their pet offenses. Aren't they cute! I say people look like their pet offenses the way some dog owners look like their pet dogs.
Haven't clearly defined between denial, like Peter, who though it was about the survival of the fittest war machine and offended, going on denial: that is forgiven. Betrayal is not against man, against ourselves and Holy Ghost. "For as much as you have done it to the least of these." "A thief does not know that he steals from himself and will come to poverty." Betrayal is refusal to give up identity as thief and betray those who do. Not the same as 'I don't know the man'.
The pastor said adultry is not in Proverbs 6:16-19....BUT IT IS MENTIONED IN PROVERBS 6:32 But whoso committetj adultery with a woman lacketh understanding: he that doeth it destroyeth his own soul.

This is a wonderful message. However, I have a question. Did Jesus not get offended himself when he turned the tables of those selling in the house of worship? Be angry and sin not. When you are angry, are you not offended of something? You can be offended but only for a time. Forgive people yes! But to tell people they can't be offended is like saying you can't be angry and that's not what the Bible says. When you are offended, repent and turn to God. That should be your message. Remember, be angry and sin not. Repent and turn to God.

Many people solely base their Salvation on what Jesus said in John 3:16, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son that whosoever believes in him should not perish but have everlasting life." But Jesus was not finished speaking yet. Later after He rose from the dead and just before He ascended into heaven He said in Mark 16:16,"He that believes and is BAPTIZED shall be Saved, but he that believes not shall be damned." At about that same time He said in Matthew 28:19,"Go therefore and teach all nations, BAPTIZING them in the name (SINGULAR name and not names) OF the Father, and OF the Son, and OF the Holy Ghost." Father, Son, and Holy Ghost are titles and not names. Jesus disciples never used those words when they baptized anyone in water, nor did they use those words in one sentence regarding any other topic. Every time Jesus disciples baptized anyone in water they invoked Jesus name at baptism which is Acts 2:38, Acts 8:14-18, Acts 8:38, Acts 9:18, Acts 10:44-48, Acts 16:15, Acts 16:33, Acts 18:7, Acts 18:8, Acts 19:3-5, and Acts 22:16 (Paul's baptism). The book of Acts is the most important book in the New Testament because all of it is what Jesus and his disciples said what we must do to be Saved, which is what Jesus meant in John 3:3-7, "Verily, verily I say unto you, Except a man be born again, he can not enter into the kingdom of God. 5 Verily, verily I say unto you, Except a man be born of water AND the of Spirit, he can not enter into the kingdom of God. 7 Marvel not that I say unto you, YOU MUST BE BORN AGAIN." Being born of water is being baptized in water in Jesus name - which is for the Remission of Sins (Acts 2:38). Being born of the Spirit is being baptized with the Holy Ghost - which is addressed in Acts 2:4 (Pentecost), Acts 8:17, Acts 9:18, Acts 10:44-48, and Acts 19:3-5. Nowhere in Scripture does it say it happens any other way than that way. There is not one Scripture that says a person receives the Holy Ghost just because they are a believer. Acts 19:2-5 is a good example. Some say the thief on the Cross next to Jesus was not baptized in Jesus Name but Jesus was not finished speaking yet. He did not give the COMMANDMENT to be Baptized in His Name until after He rose from the dead and just before He ascended into heaven, therefore the thief could not do it because he did not know about it. If you are convinced you need to get Baptized in water in Jesus Name, do a search, type in "United Pentecostal Church International", scroll down to just below the red box, type in your zip code, a screen will show a Church near you that will do that. If you do the above you will be making SURE your name is written in Lamb's Book Of Life. Jesus said in John 10:27,"My Sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me."

There are people who take offenses in like a cat lady, give them forever homes and then they have to feed them and go offense-food shopping... for their pet offenses. Aren't they cute! I say people look like their pet offenses the way some dog owners look like their pet dogs.
Haven't clearly defined between denial, like Peter, who though it was about the survival of the fittest war machine and offended, going on denial: that is forgiven. Betrayal is not against man, against ourselves and Holy Ghost.

This is a wonderful message. However, I have a question. Did Jesus not get offended himself when he turned the tables of those selling in the house of worship? Be angry and sin not. When you are angry, are you not offended of something? You can be offended but only for a time. Forgive people yes! But to tell people they can't be offended is like saying you can't be angry and that's not what the Bible says. When you are offended, repent and turn to God. That should be your message. Remember, be angry and sin not. Repent and turn to God.

What you mean by a believer being offended is probably not the same as what I mean by a believer being offended: I was offended when my wife slept with another man. Many people solely base their Salvation on what Jesus said in John 3:16, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son that whosoever believes in him should not perish but have everlasting life." But Jesus was not finished speaking yet. Later after He rose from the dead and just before He ascended into heaven He said in Mark 16:16,"He that believes and is BAPTIZED shall be Saved, but he that believes not shall be damned." At about that same time He said in Matthew 28:19,"Go therefore and teach all nations, BAPTIZING them in the name (SINGULAR name and not names) OF the Father, and OF the Son, and OF the Holy Ghost." Father, Son, and Holy Ghost are titles and not names. Jesus disciples never used those words when they baptized anyone in water, nor did they use those words in one sentence regarding any other topic. Every time Jesus disciples baptized anyone in water they invoked Jesus name at baptism which is Acts 2:38, Acts 8:14-18, Acts 8:38, Acts 9:18, Acts 10:44-48, Acts 16:15, Acts 16:33, Acts 18:7, Acts 18:8, Acts 19:3-5, and Acts 22:16 (Paul's baptism). Peter said in Acts 4:12,"Neither is there salvation in any other, for there is none other NAME under heaven given among men, whereby we must be SAVED." Paul said in Colossians 3:17,"And whatsoever you do in word or deed, do ALL in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by HIM." The book of Acts is the most important book in the New Testament because all of it is what Jesus and his disciples said what we must do to be Saved, which is what Jesus meant in John 3:3-7, "Verily, verily I say unto you, Except a man be born again, he can not enter into the kingdom of God. 5 Verily, verily I say unto you, Except a man be born of water AND the of Spirit, he can not enter into the kingdom of God. 7 Marvel not that I say unto you, YOU MUST BE BORN AGAIN." Being born of water is being baptized in water in Jesus name - which is for the Remission of Sins (Acts 2:38). Being born of the Spirit is being baptized with the Holy Ghost - which is addressed in Acts 2:4 (Pentecost), Acts 8:17, Acts 9:18, Acts 10:44-48, and Acts 19:3-5. Nowhere in Scripture does it say it happens any other way than that way. There is not one Scripture that says a person receives the Holy Ghost just because they are a believer. Acts 19:2-5 is a good example.
Some say the thief on the Cross next to Jesus was not baptized in Jesus Name but Jesus was not finished speaking yet. He did not give the COMMANDMENT to be Baptized in His Name until after He rose from the dead and just before He ascended into heaven, therefore the thief could not do it because he did not know about it.
