- I've been struggling for a while to get depth and AIS details broadcast via WiFi to a tablet running Navionics. I continue the push in this video and take a chance on the sight-unseen purchase of a used Monitor Wind Vane.
Owen, you can get a welder to spot weld those corrosion points with stainless stick/tig/mig. Then grind smooth, and you'll never even know they are there. Nice score. Good too see again.
Thanks for the tip and for your kind words
Good to see you post again 🎉
Thanks for sticking with me. :) More videos coming soon
Am fixing to refit a 25d myself so thanks for the info and ideas.
You're welcome! All the best for the refit
Oh you tease us so Owen.......vid every quarter. But good to get you back
Thank you so much. More coming soon
Glad to see you back Owen. Please post a little more frequently.🚢
Thank you! I'm working on it
Well done Owen! A bargain, i think! Best wishes from England.
Thank you for watching and for your kind words
Owen, Scanmar Marine has the Cape Dory 25 on their list of boats they've had Monitors installed on. They could probably make up the mounting tubes for it.
Thank you! Continued parts availability is one reason I decided the Monitor would be a good option.
Update on the monitor
Updates in general ?
