I can put all the blame on his parents, the guy must have been under pressure from the parents. My advice to parents is, they should leave their children to make their own decisions when it comes to marriage. In the 21st century we should be beyond ethnic discrimination. Why do we celebrate when our children get married in foreign countries where we even don't know their culture but be against them being married to another tribe?

Why do parents destroy their son's marriage? I've seen such stories over and over. My cousin is going through the same thing. His mother hates his wife and she is trying everything to separate them.

Seriously I'm just tired of hearing these stories, so somebody slaps you even before the wedding Infront of your family ( I cannot even fathom that)is comfortably broke, doesn't help with the wedding, the family doesn't approve and you proceed with it? And then pray for the marriage? What marriages?? I just don't get it. Surely ladies can we be serious and don't say it's love because that's not love at all. People just need therapy.
