- Minions Cafe at Universal Studios Orlando SOFT OPENED yesterday, and we got a chance to try all kinds of food. We were so impressed with the theming at the Minions Cafe soft opening. We also tried some treats from the Bake My Day bakery and the Minions Freeze Ray Pops! This entire block is a great addition to Minion Land, and we can't wait to see it at it's fullest soon!

What are you MOST excited to try at the Cafe?!
That’s a very hard question. The PX-41 drink intrigues me. The Pizza looks so good & the Steak & cheese sandwich sounds so good. I definitely need a Freeze Ray pop & Macaron. I can’t wait to get down to Universal in September & try it all! Thank you for your review of everything!
I want to try the Cauliflower dish! I can’t believe Anna likes fake banana flavor more than normal bananas… 😂 I really don’t think I’ll go for banana flavored things either other than for experimental purposes!

PX-41 punch! It's purple. It's lemonade with strawberry and kiwi flavors, with Evil Minion-colored topping and Blue Raspberry Pop Rocks!

We went for opening day too! We tried the pork sandwich and the Mac n cheese! Both were very good! The banana bread beer was super good too!

A popsicle stand is such a great idea! My husband is dairy intolerant and that would be so nice to be able to get him a cold treat.

We just went to US and IOA last week for the first time. Watching your videos before we went was a HUGE help to us! We were hoping to see you guys in the park while we were there lol. Now, it’s very different to watch your videos because we know exactly where you’re standing and we know what you’re talking about more clearly lol. We’re already planning a return visit for my 50th birthday celebration in 2 years. I gave up a trip to Greece for a second trip to Hogsmeade lol. Thank you, Pughs!

Haha banana is just so bad! That cake pop was the worst of it too. The inside was mushy like bananas and it tasted so strongly of both real and fake banana flavor lol. The food was so good! We’re dying to get back over there and try the rest of it!

They should have made the “antidote” into like a frozen butterbeer texture. Then you could stir in the foam like you guys do with the butterbeer!

This is one of those times where I really wish I was able to visit Universal Orlando. As someone who's visited Universal Hollywood a lot, this Minion Land beats our Illumination area EASY! I do like our Minion Cafe but this is next level.

Oh we definitely didn’t eat all of it yesterday lol. We brought a lot of stuff home and those popsicles melted before we could eat half of them 😂 the cafe actually has to go boxes!

Whew, I'm surprised you didn't find a nice shady spot to conduct your review. That sandwich with the bacon and applebutter sounds amazing. I was planning on moving over there to FL to be closer to the parks. If I ever get the chance, I'd love to pick your brain and get your opinion about what it's like to·there, the cost and everything for someone retired. BTW the heat wouldn't bother me as I live near the swamps now.
