This sollution is just sympton relief, the real cause is the float in the container that sinks when there is lot of flow in the coolant system. Replace the container for a permanent fix

I have one opel astra H 1.6 turbo gtc 180hp in the 11 years that I have it a second time water tank and the first time a water damper but only the tank makes 55 euros there is only a genuine spare part in the dealers.
Oh really? Because I have changed sensor, coolant fluid, cleaned the tank, repaired small leak of fluid... But the coolant level warning is still being thrown at me. Do you think changing the tank may help? What is the mechanism of the cause with coolant tank?
For my girlfriend saturn astra i cut the wire plug both and the low coolant call is gone for ever now if you wanna know the level just have to do as old time and pop the hood :)
I get 'coolant level low, top up coolant' show up on my zafira tourer. It doesn't come on everytime I start the car though. Had it checked twice and no leaks so it must be the sensor? Would make way more sense.
It's propably the faulty tank for coolant fluid. The internal magnetic level indicator of fluid have to stuck sometimes. Check this option. Best regards
@@michaelgodliman436 Rather to buy a new tank. But you can try to dismount tank and fill with WC fluid to remove stone from surface. Shake IT very well and flush with fresh water.

Hi, I found a better solution, after changing 2 sensors and 1 vessel, I removed the sensor and cut that thin black piece, very carefully, and it works perfectly.

Probabil senzorul tubular din interior cu bimetal nu-si mai face treaba. Recomand schimbarea integrala a senzorului cu unul nou, ca nu mai este protecție IP. E undeva la 20Euro.
Hello. The stove does not heat me. Z. B 1.7 cdti. Replaced the radiator stove, thermostat, pump. And it still blows cold. The valves all work. The pipes on the stove are warm. Maybe there is some secret? help please.

Just so you know.. I had the same issue on my Astra H (1.9 ZDT). Changed about 3 sensors.. all would fail again in a matter of month.
Just cut and plug the wire and cover with a good shrink tube not only electrical tape

Coolat tank is always the problem,sensor very rare

The problem is the float in the tank that does not float anymore. Replace the tank and the problem is gone
