- This is the first piece of music I made with the new Qubit Mojave. I know, it is an ocean themed video... The patch was built and recorded in a state park cabin at Jedidiah State Park, CA. The footage was shot at Cape Perpetua, near Yachats Oregon, and the Oregon Dunes area.
Modules used:
Qubit Mojave & Aurora, Schlappi Engineering Three Body, Make Noise Morphagene, Bastl Basil & Aikido, Buchla/Tip Top Source of Uncertainty, ALM Busy Circuits ASQ-1
magnifique, bravo !
Gorgeous footage! Everything I’ve seen and heard of the Mojave so far has been quite intriguing.
Thank you for sharing this. Wonderful
Thank you for watching and the kind words 🙏🏻
Great track and video, Tim! Are those seals swimming out there at the 1:04 mark?
Sure are! I got lots of footage of them as well...stay tuned
Sounds wonderful! Have you found anything in-particular that sets it apart from other granular devices?
Not sure if other granular modules do this but there is a mode where the grains are generated when the audio input hits a threshold. Also in typical @qubitelectronix fasion, you can get some cool ratchet/stuttering on the firing of grains. It's a very cool device that seems to stand on its own in the granular field.
Thanks for the reply! I just watched the 'instant polyphony' demo on the Qu-Bit manual Demo video which was highly intriguing@@PodularModcast
another granular module hm do we really need one?
I mean, do we really NEED anymore modules of any type? Running an instrument company requires creating new products and granular is pretty cool and hot right now . Capitalism is gonna Capitalism, might as well make neat things.😃
Still have my after later audio monsoon
And qu bit nebulae great stuff
I think need new some hibrid fx module
Long time not see anything good
@@JBBTS This definitely will scratch the "wild effects" itch. I would also recommend the Nautilus from Qubit and the Bastl Basil if you are looking for interesting effects😎
@@PodularModcast I actually was thinking about bastl basil small on hp and have lots of interesting mod options
I have Ikarie from Bastl Instruments and I can tell that quality is very much spot on
