Heads up - You can record audio into separate tracks in OBS. So you can have desktop sounds on one track and voice on another then balance them when you make a video for YT
I levelled with this using Quill Rain and Rain of Arrows and it seemed to work quite well. The attack speed and AOE targeting made for pretty quick screen clear.

I am probably wrong but I just wanted to say this : I don't believe the chance to poison support works. Just a few days before it got popular, I tried to get a bunch of budget items to see how it would perform before the market went crazy and tested a few things. Even tried a dendrobate on its own and even the support gem and noticed that it didn't highlight holy relic as a supported gem. Again, I am probably wrong plus didn't look into it heavily kinda just got more currency, invested, and it didn't matter but I wanted to throw it out there in case. Good video! Edit : I just want to put here as a note - my comment is very all over the place and it sounds like I was saying that I used dendrobate with the chance to poison support gem in as well which wasn't the case, I tried them separately. It's confusing cause I suck at explaining stuff anyways sorry, hopefully I am just wrong and it's a case that I'm just ignorant but in the scenario that I'm not I figured I would leave this comment and edit here 👌
@@subtractemyes I know it's very commonly used in poison minion builds, and looks like my comment was for nothing. I checked in game and yes it does work. Earlier on in the league when I tried using it, the gem didn't even say it was being supported by it which makes me think it was patched but I doubt it, I'm most likely just going insane. sorry for the comment and wasting your time
He's using lightning coil to redirect phys to lightning (at which point resists kick in). You can also see on his passive tree (linked pob) that he picked up various block nodes, and the armor and crit reduction node, which as he says in the video synergizes with the boots that also reduce extra damage from crit. Jinxed Juju amulet redirects 10% damage to spectres. All of these things will work together to reduce the damage you take from a hit, thereby increasing phys max hit. One of his shield nodes gives 10% chance for endurance charge on kill. That seems like it would work well with culling strike on the lancing steel if you could fit it in.
Thief's Torment is a great legit on-a-budget item for Holy Relic and Lancing Steel. Still running it at 94 and it's fine. Good rolls on that ring are cheap. Yeah, you don't get two rings... but it works.
Im currently doing the build but using the transig version of Barrage with returning projectiles. Did you try that? With GMP im having a shitload of projectiles with just a tad longer cast time. Upside is i can use a very nice minion wand with damage and +minion spells.

Ive been testing a Autobomber version of holy relic Non - poison! auto triggering with 'The hidden Blade' It cant do uber but ive just focued on speed mapping t16s. Its been my fave build this league. There is a limit to the damage, but its more than good enough. Im looking into a weapon swap for uber fights
All I'm hoping for is that they dont do anything to nerf the Sabotuer Trigger Bots interaction with Arcanist Brand... I am really want to give that a go as a funky league starter. I did a quick rework on my old CoC FR Sabo to make it use the Arcanist Brand triggers instead, with the sheer number of FR casts I was almost killing myself with a high chaos mitigation Fourth Vow setup lol. I don't think ill do a FR setup with that unless I do CI haha... too sketchy
Just a heads up, Corruption might not be the best play. Wither just takes whatever 15 stacks it gets and then it overwrites the oldest applied wither. This means that when your minions hit and apply wither they will overwrite your own wither which has a higher effect.
I was actually gonna comment on this as well. However, I couldn't find a source confirming that withered stacks get overwritten. Do you have one? Either way, I at least think there should be note that you absolutely have to use Withering Touch support if you anoint Corruption, as many players likely don't know it won't apply to withered stacks applied by your minions. Very nice video otherwise.

And i agree with you, IF you are using corruption it needs to be said that "Withering touch" is a must. One thing players could use when using withering touch is the mod "-res to enemies you have withered". Cause, theoretically, you would have at least some stacks that are yours which means the mod would apply, unlike when it's your minions wither stacks. :)

Not sure about the definition of a league starter or budget. For a decent league starter, the floor is much more imortant. 5 link damage and tankyness, QoL etc. To get a 6 link Coil in a fresh league scenario is even harder for a lot of ppl.
I really enjoy your "X Build on a Budget" series of videos you've been doing the last couple leagues. The depth of detail and care that you put into these guides really shows. You always make sure to keep the soul a build alive, keep the price down to a new player friendly range, and really showcase the connecting point between leveling and a furnished build. I really appreciate the amount of work that I'm sure goes into making these budget guides.
Your pobb is using a hits can't be evaded sword whereas the video has mutlimod, trigger and hits can't be evaded. Does pobb not support multimod and trigger crafts or is it a different sword? I feel like that sword is pretty pricey at 2 div for multimod. I'm thinking for budget, get trigger and take the one extra point on the tree for resolute technique. What do you think?
Run Merc lab until your eyes bleed. Cross your fingers that it gives you "change the same gem" but also toss in random blue gems. All transfigured gems have this issue but that's just the state of the game right now.
crazy to think we're still just halfway through the league, it really feels like a graveyard out there. Seen a Dreamcore forgotten unique highlight recently and even though Scales of Justice is a 1c item, when I looked it up yesterday only 10 were listed in trade. Really hope there'll be some events soon, this looks like a fun build to try in an event or private league :)
The Scales of Justice is a lab only drop and probably hidden on many people's filter precisely because it is a 1c unique. I'm not saying you're wrong about league activity being low, but that particular unique is not a great indicator :)
not enough people playing abyss to actually drop amanamu's. it stayed at 20d for the entire league up to this point, and it's starting to go up in price because of demand (10 listings, lowest one is 30d).
I do have some history with holy relic yeah :) That was guardian with cyclone, which ghazzy has his own tale on that already this league. As it is lancing steel is just so insane anyway you may as well use it.
@@subtractem Probably not the best...but I've been enjoying quill rain + rearguard and using Storm Rain (lmp+gmp+withering touch) for triggering the relics. I've enjoyed it a lot; the relics seem to trigger like a machinegun - it's felt reliable for procs.
a major defensive boost comes from running garb of the ephemeral on your animate guardian. "nearby enemies cannot deal critical strikes" is very strong
Unfortunately I imagine that Lancing Steel is looking down the barrel of a nerf for next league. It's put its hand up as the go to delivery method for many builds. If it does avoid the nerf hammer I might try this out as a league starter. Great work as always!
Yeah it's why I specifically call out that it's why this build feels so good and every other option feels pretty bad in comparison. If it doesn't get touched I'm definitely considering it next league!
Not using one here, it's so hard to keep alive in really hard mods right now that I'm not bothering at the moment. It's nearly free damage if you want to deal with the hassle though.
I'd only bother with the AG once you've got T16's feeling comfortable, then it's a nice 'win more' option. Before that, it's so rippy. Better to take some zombies with you instead.

I just checked against previous minion builds and chance to poison support is very common, PoB also says that it works.

how about a bow setup with crafted quality on 23% gem, you can probably get a +3 gem, minion damage, quality bow and a free chest

Slight oversight in the pob, I meant to keep the trigger craft and not the evade craft. We have RT in the pob already.

This build as proposed is for budget and already has crit immunity. Garb is notoriously expensive on league start.
