Black James Bond was the exact vibe I was going to. So makes me super happy you said that. Regarding the synths I made them all with my moog grandmother synth and then do a ton of processing to make things my own. I kind of show a little of this process in this other video. ua-cam.com/video/adnUFkrDoAc/v-deo.htmlfeature=shared
I feel i can do all of that with drum buss and saturator. It sounds good but I want to decrease my plugin list because abletons workflow is the way forward.
I can’t disagree with you. Ableton plugins are pretty dope and if you have the patience you can do a lot. I have a whole chain of Ableton plugins on the buss before this plug in (it’s collapsed) but this was adding extra flavour. Too many plugins can be counter productive so it’s good you’re exercising that discipline.
Yes! It’s same dev who makes to Tone empire but I don’t think it’s same one who makes Gold clip. Pretty sure the Gold clip dev is a Caucasian guy with blonde hair, feel like I saw him on a podcast.
@@WhoIsAlexElliott Man, i was not doubting your feedback, it just makes it hard to understand the before and after comparison if its not level matched, thats how Pro's compare A/B in mixing :) No Offense
@@exposingyouthetruth6443 No problem. I’ve realised your referring to a common misconception when it comes to level matching. The whole level match thing came around because people were actually making this louder in peak level when A/B which lead to false results. The correct way is to level match peak level which is what I’m doing here. (this is the actual pro way to do it). Rather than trying to match perceived level, as a huge point of this kind of compression is to raise the RMS, crest factor/ perceived loudness whiles simultaneously adding character. This compressor is also saturating to shave the peaks which is resulting in a larger sound (louder perceived volume). If I was to turn it down so it matched the audible level it would sound worst because I’ve reduced the dynamic range. This also defeats the point of saturated compression. The main point of this type of Compression is to control the peaks and therefore increase perceived loudness. I have seen a lot of UA-camrs level match just for the sake of it, which I never understood because in a practical day to day use case, we mixers don’t actually do this. We pay attention to peak level as the aim in mixing is to bring out character and energy while’s raising RMS level. This results in a powerful master because the mix is controlled, energetic and loud to start with.
The neold has way more control as a compressor so still has its own place. I would say these two are in the same category of sound but as this unit is capturing 8 different analogue chains there is a wider range of sounds. I would use the neold where I need absolute control and use DYNA where I want to get THAT SOUND fast.
@@WhoIsAlexElliott ...remember how amped you were for neold, was just re watching the video...two plugins you put me onto neold w.and p44...Those two together is like $400+
Flippin heck Alex your sound is so unique here.
Ahh thankyou very much brother!
I love how everytime you drop a beat it just SMASHES. Came for the demonstration, STAYED FOR THE BANGER
😅😅. Thanks my bro for the kind words
We’re gonna need a little template /Ableton racks /drum rack GO TOs vid bro…. Great to see you move over!!!
@@brucekai7462 will add to the list. This would be easy to do as I actually have a 100% ableton plug in drum rack option
That sounds cold and the beat’s not too shabby either! 😂
Cool plug. I wasn’t sure if I’d like it much as I generally avoid these types of plugs but really enjoyed it 🙌
would love to see which synths you used here..very inspiring stuff. I hear Layers of melodies (women ...) . Could be a hip hop James Bond song

Thanks for listening 😁
@@WhoIsAlexElliott You welcome
So sick
💯🙌🙌🙌
i love emulation plugins you can blend to taste, on my master i use STL Tones with a emulated chain limiter and i blend till it knocks.
I new to this style of plugin but it’s actually super fun 💯🎯😁
@@WhoIsAlexElliott blending to taste is always better than watching numbers 👍🏾 this seems along those lines
Completely agree!
fuckin beat was Nutts bro!!!!

Same dev who makes Tone Empire plugs and coded Gold Clip I think?
