Another fantastic technique! I am often amazed by what you come up with Jennifer. Your creativity knows no bounds. Beautiful cards you’ve shared here. I can’t wait to give this idea a try. Thank you so much for everything you share with us. I always learn from watching your videos, & I appreciate it so much. Thank you!!
After years of card crafting, I seldom get excited to try a new technique but this one sure sparked my interest. It is easy to do and produces great results. You are not called the queen of techniques for no reason Jennifer.
LOVE THIS TECHNIQUE! You always come up with the most unique techniques that are easy to do and we don’t need special supplies to make them. Your creativity always astounds me! I can’t wait to try this. TFS
Super idea Jennifer! I love adding dimension to my cards but due to high postage rates in Canada, I also like to make them as light as possible. These acetate wings will add that pop up feature when recipients open their envelope -- without the added mailing weight. I'm definitely on board with this clever technique that eliminates having to layer cardstock for dimension.
Jennifer, these cards are pure gorgeousness! I love all of them so much, but that soft pink and white at the start made my eyes sparkle and my heart puddle - so feminine and totally my jam! I love that this technique is so easy and easily done with minimal supplies - thank you!! 💖🌟💖 I hope you had a wonderful Mother's Day!
Oh Wow! I Love this technique. 😀 Something so simple, yet can make such a Big impact! Thank you so much for sharing your talent with us. Have a Blessed Day
OMG Jennifer in a word WOW!!! Your Cards are Stunning and Breathtakingly Gorgeous!! What a great way to use those tiny bits of packaging that have windows cut out or printing on the majority of it and only the edges are salvagable - no more throwing edges of packaging away after cutting the 'useable' square out of the middle! Thankyou!
When I was running classes, I would tell folks to go light on the glue and tuck it under your thigh while working on next bit. The heat and weight worked great, and nobody at the tables got their pieces mixed up. Love the tutorials!
Dimension this way is a great idea because it’s useful in sending without having to use and extra padded envelope. The embossing folder idea is great as well.
I appreciate the insight that it makes more sense to use a bubble mailer for the more dimensional cards, thanks for sharing that. :). Especially with how much effort I put into making even basic things, it makes sense to go the extra step of a bubble mailer.
I absolutely loved this tutorial. One of my favorite set of dies to use are butterflies and the dimension this gives them is wonderful. I bookmarked it so that I can make cards of my own using this technique. Thank you so much, You're the greatest!
Jennifer, this is another super video! I have some butterfly stamps/dies that I haven't used yet and this technique is so fun! Thanks for sharing your lovely handmade kindness techniques!
I really love all of those cards. The butterflies are so cool. It looks like they’re cut into the background. This is going to be my next project. Thanks so much Jennifer. You’re a ray of sunshine for my Monday 🌞
Hello Jennifer! I love your videos and learn so much watching them! Thank you for making my love for “creating handmade kindness” that much more fun and enjoyable🥰
Hi Jennifer! Thanks for reminding me of the Z-spring technique! I used it a few times years ago, but haven't thought of it since. It's so fun, I definitely have to use it more! And I loved your idea to pop up just the butterfly wings - what a neat effect!
Also a tip for when making Butterflies on cards, for their Antennae, I use black or white Stamens, the ones you buy for the centre of flowers, these look exactly like Antennae !!
You are the best! I love your tutorials. I live in Canada. So it kind of reigns me in on buying locally as much as possible. Boo, exchange. Fabulous video saved to my collection
