It’s Unbelievable what your engineering creative mind comes up with next Jennifer! My mouth fell open when you came up with the idea of getting rid of the excess raised embossing powder by sweeping across the project with a few pieces of paper! I was picturing a lot of brushing it off with a small paintbrush as is usual. The cards and techniques are amazing. Mind blowing actually!!! 🇨🇦🧑🏻🦳
You’re talent never ceases to amaze me.🤩. But more importantly, I appreciate how you are considerate of your viewer’s time by keeping your videos straight and to the point. You show us value on using the scraps or by-products of different techniques. You are top notch!
WOW, stunning and so easy to do. I don’t know how you keep coming up with such new and fresh techniques, but really appreciate that you share your talent with us all
Jennifer, you say you weren’t cut out to be an English major, but your descriptions are ones that would rival a good writer! I love that you include your excitement for a technique. I started thinking about your lives and how you get nervous. I think if you could be teaching someone, your daughters friends or newish cardmakers your anxiety would diminish. You are a teacher. Without a student for you to teach it alters your rhythm. (Or it does mine.). It also keeps your focus away from what your teaching and lets you get distracted. Just a thought!
i used to watch you all the time when i was 11. im so happy that you're still doing the card decoration shindig, it was, and still is, so satisfying watching you decorate them!
All of your cards are amazing, but I especially love the first die that you used! What you did with it is really cool! Thank you for all of the great tips, too. I really learned a lot of things in this video!
I'm so impressed with all the fantastic ideas that you always come up with . These cards are great and that last one you showed with the wild mirror paper was fantastic. That alone would be great or with a little butterfly or flower...You have a great card.. I went wild when I saw it. Thanks Jennifer for always knocking my socks off...you never fail....to do just that... knock my socks off. pat
Oh my goodness.... This is such an inspirational video. If I could give it 10 likes, I would! Thank you for sharing these ideas and tips. Your cards..... Sigh... I just love them all. But the one with the watercolored sentiment... Yeah... I adore it! 👌
Again you have wowed! I enjoyed the fact that you used the die as a stencil to add more oomph to the cards. You are so very talented. Thanks for sharing it with us.
My goodness Jennifer, you CONTINUE TO AMAZE ME! This is a great video with lots of ideas…now my brain has kicked into overdrive…what shall I create next! Thank you for your enthusiastic presentation……..you’re the best as always💕
I am so impressed with what you are able to do after your surgery! Beautiful cards. I still don't have strength to deal with rub ons so I am using my die cut machine. plus still don't have precision control - but then again I was 9 months without my right arm due to problems. Keep up the good work.
I've just ordered most of the dies you used in this video. I love Diecember, so many fun dies coming around. Thank you for you wonderful techniques. Beautiful cards.
So happy to see you use that leftover ink! It always kills me when people just wipe it up....great card example using that scrap! Of course the other cards were fantastic too 😊 TYFS! ❤️🦋💜
I love the way you were using the embossing powder. You mentioned a "cheat sheet" for sandwich layers for all the different embossing folders. I looked for it on your blog and could not find it. TFS
I’m so sad we don’t have a Simon Says here in UK. Mind you my bank manager is probably glad we don’t 😂🇬🇧 Sending blessings to you and your family Jennifer. Very been watching hing you for years. I think you were one of the first crafters I subscribed to 😘❤️
Love that holo embossed sheet🤩 Fun impression technique- I must give it a try and dust off my rubber mat. Enjoy the Holiday Season and all the small joys that surround us❤️🎄
Great technique! Even without the embossing powder, this opens up a whole set of patterns (background dies) to color easily with watercolors. Would this technique work with regular ink?
Mind blown, as usual with your fantastic videos with ideas that your engineering mind comes up with! Just wish I could remember all the steps when I go to my craft room to TRY to duplicate some of them! As someone else commented, I wish I could give you 10 (at least) thumbs up instead of just one.
Sweet Sarah that’s what that save button is for. Set up a folder for Jennifer and put the videos there. You can go back and rewatch or do a step then pause and complete and then move on one step at a time. I have a lot of Jennifer’s videos saved.
Thank you Jennifer what an amazing video. I am wondering if you might know what type of a sandwich you would use for a die cut machine that I have that is so old it is the original cuttlebug and I do not have any type of silicone mat or anything I just have the basic plates. Any suggestions for me?
Jennifer, question! What is the best cloth or way to remove antistatic powder from dark card stock? When I heat emboss on dark cardstock, I have powdered streaks. I believe you use a microfiber cloth? Is there a brand you recommend? Or should I switch brand of powder? I have tried clorh and have tried damp cloth, but there are still streaks. I typically use hero arts card stock for my dark colors (especially the navy). I have an antistatic powder tool similar to the rabbit hole design one. I do not remember the brand of powder I use. Basically, I’m die cutting all images to glue onto dark card stock to reduce the amount of powdered smears. Any advice? Thanks in advance 💙
