Swiss Freight Trains

Freight trains are a common sight on the Swiss mainline network with both domestic freight as well as trains crossing the Alps which connect the ports of Italy with those in Germany and the Netherlands.

I've been to canton Uri to watch trains before. Many trains going to Italy pass through here.
