funny the fact there's a "trailer" for Wreckfest 2 when they haven't even finished the first one which has tonnes of bugs and issues and the multiplayer, well trying to play the game with my son and its a ball ache.... don't get me wrong, I enjoy the game when it works..... but seriously... fix the first then sort the second one out once that's done
I get your frustration, I've had similar issues when trying to play with a friend. Getting into the same lobby is an issue in itself but considering they have announced a sequel I doubt they will support the first one with updates even if they have been updating the first one with minor updates every so often up till March this year. This will more than likely be putting all the development effort into #2.
@@MaverickRNG yeah it is a sad situation, I mean I get them wanting to prioritise the sequel, but they really should have ensured the first one was fixed before considering to abandon it in favour of a sequel, which would raise concerns whether or not they will repeat this action when they decide to do WF3 tbh... 😞
Yeah you would hope they will make the sequel a better version but with very limited info and no release date in sight Im holding any expectation till we get some gameplay and more info on how WF2 is gonna work. As for fixing a game thats 6 years old, doubt they thought it would be worthwhile as the playerbase has surely declined since its 2018 release. Thats not to say they wont keep the sequel up to date but we will defo expect improvements.
@@MaverickRNG yeah I just hope it's a case of lessons learned and they've listened to the playerbase, I mean it would be great if they added dedicated and client side hosting of games with an invite for private and public options even if they do a code based join system or a direct invite. but yeah WF was the closest thing to a modern day Destruction Derby I (like possibly many) grew up on... which is why I and possibly many others jumped on the game but will be keeping an eye on this one though.... also thanks for taking the time to do a video on this, I honestly hadn't heard anything on this sequel until seeing your video
From how they have worded the steam page, improvements are coming to multiplayer but will see when more info comes available and for a small team of what was 15 or so from when the game launched to I think now 28 devs working on the game I think they done fairly well with a game thats grown in popularity. And thanks, part of the reason I do videos. Some might not have seen new info and Im happy to do a video on it or making videos on updates as I know many people including myself dont like reading updates in a blog post and a video format is perfect for it!
Nice video❤
Thanks

This W2 trailer was awful. I will never be hyped for another derby game esp because Trail Out did way better than the first Wreckfest
I don't mind the trailer just because it's the initial announcement one. Next one 'should' be better as long as it has more gameplay aspects in it.
@@MaverickRNG I don't even want to see the "gameplay" of it.
