I get why you think that but I did make this video before launch. More of a short summary of my 10-minute-long form video. As for 'no content' I've been plenty busy and thought this would be useful for some people. I didn't have to justify my content to you but I have because I thought you should know.

I've had shipments magically get to 0% while the truck has stayed at 100%... all the money from that shipment is just gone.

@@peterprow6093 When you start the game you can choose the difficulty and one of them is called "custom" where you can change a lot of parameters including the cost of maintenance and repair!:D

@@peterprow6093 As ​@donatotusi9140 has mentioned, it is possible! You will need to start a new save but you can also turn off the tutorial mission as well if you don't want to go through that again. Basically you have full control from financies to maintenance and adjust it how you want to play.

yes! i really wish i could translate up, down, left and right and with hotas support that would be a neat feature and this would also make lining up with trailers or station so much better

Power cells and air should be rechargeable while in dock. At some point you should be able to buy modifications like a APU to burn fuel for recharging cells even if you have to manually remove and place cells to be charged. I would love to see at some point to see at great cost replacing parts of your rig so you don't have to worry about power cells any more for those systems.

You know when I first played the demo during Steam Nextfest at the start of the year I honestly thought they were if you put them in containers, sadly wishful thinking but a rechargable container would be quite a neat way of doing it.

why not ? ALL of truck movements are with keyboard only. HOTAS would replace only space, a s d w q e. Immersion, maybe. But you would need mouse and keyboard for on-foot movement and space walk.

Driving the truck would be a lot easier with hotas, you'd use less fuel because you're not going too fast and then having to brake, and you could maintain a constant speed without the cruise control. As for space walking or just walking around the truck it wouldn't be difficult at all. Joystick replaces wasd, and throttle is space/shift. Left and right click could be the triggers on each piece. I think it would be easier than mouse and keyboard

Ive been personally going between Mnk & controller which does feel better than Mnk but thats my personal preference. That being said, HOTAS would be great but lets let them cook with it first.

Air filter price is insane. Its literally an air filter......

VR support hasent been mentioned as of yet. Maybe something they will consider in the future

Yes there is, should be in Graphics under post-processing. Options for quality and motion blur in cockpit which can be turned completely off.

I'm so disappointed with the graphics of this on the SX ...first of all it looks nowhere near as good as the reveal trailers showed- one of the biggest downgrades we've seen this generation ...considering this is such a big exclusive and was developed for current gen only without the xbox one holding it back, I think peoples disappointment with the visuals is totally justified! It's arguably on the same level visually as GT7 which released almost 2 years prior and was a cross gen game!

Yup it certainly has a lot more to offer this time, beats the list of bug fixes being bigger than the added content for once, yes update 1-7 Im looking at you!

@@MaverickRNG Man, I can smell the coping through my pc's screen... The car and track models are all from fm1. They should spend time on improving the graphics to live up to it's system requirements. It looks ugly and old + the career and featured events are just repetitive and soulless.

Coping? I never said I liked how the game is, I just said it was better than it was at launch. I play it like once an update to see if it gets 'better'. Least the bug fixes list isnt longer than the FOMO content they keep putting out.

To me, it feels like it looks better on XSX on my 4K HDR TV.

Going to be honest, not come across it since getting the game but has definitive mentions of it on its steam page. If I find out how I will let you know!

@@MaverickRNG Ok, that's interesting. It's not on the store page, and I haven't come across this either in-game. However, on the 3 September news article (launch day), it does in fact mention that.

Side Jobs and SOS Recovery are not in the game yet. They are on the update road map that was just released.

Yup Im aware, had a few comments about this. Honestly slipped my mind when making the video. The units I auto think of when it comes to space is AU and LY but for some reason my brain didnt think light seconds...

Nothing about DLSS in any patch they have released since release if I remember correctly.

Same here. I did the normal mode and it was overly brutal. I started a custom mode and changed things like battery drain and prices and stuff. I think i overdid it because now it feels too easy. But that's better than the barely able to scrape by of the normal mode

No, i cant agree i play casual. And ive no such problems. Act ive 40K and a half upgraded trunck. Only point i hate is JustInTime.😂. Sometimes massive waiting times but when u use the gate again u are to late😅

Some of us are good at managing. Totally agree the game can get away from you fast if ya' aren't paying attention. 😂It's like Real Life!

Gotta double check which sectors forbid it, otherwise your in for a nasty surprise! Banning beer in the first place is criminal in itself.

Game is only available on Xbox & PC currently. The devs are open to putting it on more platforms in the future though.

I believe so. Devs said during an AMA that they wanted to bring in a lot more things into the game but couldn't before launch including HOTAS support which they are working on. So its defo going to be updated and isn't going to stay the way it is on launch.

Star Routes: Standard jumps, Hyper Highways: longer faster jumps with a toll & Business loops are one way only.

Tbf I made this video before launch and this short was more designed for people that didnt really know about the game before.

Not really, it has story based elements but its mostly a sandbox. Do what you want. After the short tutorial you can do what you want or do what it suggests. The side-jobs do give you some lore and insight to the other voiced truckers though.

Okay so I'm not the only one having that issue thank God. I was getting pissed off because of it. Other than that it's a fun game in my opinion but they DEFINITELY need to fix the AI. Which I can understand why it isn't nothing is gonna be perfect when it releases but hopefully they fix it asap

I haven't really come across this issue yet before, lucky I guess. The only time I've been rear-ended is because I loitered a for around 30 seconds after going through a jump gate.

I held up traffic trying to reverse into a drop-off point to unload cargo, and no one hit me they blew their horns, and it felt like real-life anxiety you get from holding up traffic 😂😂😂

Although that may be frustrating but which preset did you choose when you started because that will determine how much maintenence you do. Some presets are for more the trucking side and less maintence while others are the opposite or you can completely customise them with custom settings. Whether you can alter them after you have started a save is another. It seems you might want to have a look at the driver preset or custom as it seems that's your playstyle.

@@MaverickRNG I chose the balance one, I wanted more of the maintenance aspects. I just didn't expect my Grav power cell to drain so fast. I am most likely going to do a custom with the power consumption on low and see how that goes. Constantly having to change the most annoying core out all the time is a pain. It is the reason I feel a game like My Summer car only has the really small dedicated fan base. Because adding extra tedium in a game for no reason can pull people out of it. This is one of those games that could have similar following as ETS2 or ATS. But this kind of thing is most likely the reason after the hype dies down it will have a small but dedicated fan base. Which is okay just feels like an easy fix is just reducing it not making it basically mandatory to visit the shop every time you fly into a area to pick up what cells they have. (or giving you someway to charge them, maybe making it were the cell degrades over time so maybe you get a few charges out of a battery then you have to replace it) Maybe when you are docked you start charging the cores. Then as time goes on the health of the battery goes down. And when the health hits zero it can't charge anymore. Then have it were you can get more expensive batteries with more charge and health. But that is just a possible solution.

@@mat99richI have been struggling with debt. Everytime I make the deliveries and get my debt cleared, I have to buy fuel and usually a power cell/air filter. I’ve been barely getting by in my 2 days of playing lol.

@@braydendougherty You mean in the hardcore mode or just in general. I was able to make money pretty fast in the game but I was just playing the balanced so not sure how different it is for any of the other modes. But I also got the hang of the game pretty fast reminded me of Elite dangerous before I got a Hotas for it so I picked it up quickly enough.

Kinda a bit of both really but its more sandbox. It gives you a small tutorial to get you started then you can do what you want. There are side jobs from the other drivers that you meet in the game but again optional. So you will pick up some lore in the game via radio chatter and side jobs but you can do what you want.

Where can u buy new ones?

I usually sell mine at any of the shops. Really wish recharging was a thing unless I haven't discovered it yet!

As for buying new ones you can find them in the shops but they wont always sell them because what you see is all the stock they have and may need to go to other shop to find them. Alternatively if your lucky you can find these items as salvage that you can find. I was lucky enough to find a fuel canister and power cell in the Junk Fields area
