Inferno, you've got nice range with that Sonic 2 boss theme! Nice! 👍
I've used it to death. haha Glad I was able to finish slightly differently with the Ecco one. I'll be tackling some winter/snow level themes next month, and seeing what else I can get done before the new year, hopefully including more remakes of 2009 originals.

I always figured Marble Zone was made with leftover Altered Beast Stage 1 assets.
This is a great concept. I have always enjoyed SNES games that are in Megaman X style, I'm glad to see something similar for the Sega Genesis.
Funny you mention that, you can actually get an unofficial port of Megaman X3 for Genesis/MD.
I forgot how much I love Altered Beast, those first 4 secs remind me I’m in for a great ride! Such an upbeat remix! 😁
It's a great theme. The sounds on the Gen/MD port kinda butcher it, but GuitarDreamer's cover really brings it to life, and that in part inspired this extension. :)

All that's missing from the beginning is, "Rise From Your Grave", but it'd have to be more compressed, like all Sonic Gen samples were. Other than that minor shortcoming, it's perfect, and still sent me down Memory Lane!
If It were to be in context, it'd have to be said by a compressed Mike Pollock. :P

Rise from pumpkin hill! Man, I really like the take on this. Especially since Altered Beasts always had a sound that sounded just a little too twangy for me. Maybe the faster rythm just gets it for me.
