Dear Robin, we lost you 11 years ago, and since then May has been the month of eternal goodbyes. I hope you're watching us from somewhere, because you have to see, the number of your fans hasn't decreased a bit. Listening to your songs, we learned to live without you, but your popularity, the number of your fans, is growing. We will do our best to keep your wonderful voice alive for generations to come. Here at last!
Only three of these were previously released: ‘Alan Freeman Days’, well worth rescuing from obscurity, ‘Wherever You Go’, more of a demo, and ‘Don’t Cry Alone’ from The Titanic Requiem. Additionally a version of ‘Instant Love’ with vocals by RJ appeared in a little-seen film in 2009, and ‘Sydney’ was streamed on Robin’s web site in 2011.
The booklet contains very informative notes for each song by Dwina Gibb.
The Japanese release has one extra song added at the end, carrying on the ancient practice of adding a bonus song in one country to get consumers to buy the local copy (in Japan) and a second import copy (everywhere else).
