I agree what a dissapointing archives and also such a pain to buy. As much as I love Sezane I don't eant to buy in archives to dave 50 I haced the experience. For me shopping has to be a pleasure and for things I really need. Dissapointed
I love that you review jumpsuits because they are often overlooked. I think you would look great in the denim Brooklyn jumpsuit from the current collection. I purchased the ochre Michel jumpsuit because I love that colour and it looked so cute on the model. Aside from that, I was disappointed with the sale. I visited the site about 15 minutes early and then again at the scheduled start time and almost everything was gone or in another person’s cart and what was available didn’t interest me. Oh well, it was an experience.
I love jumpsuits so much! I have a few from Sezane (Miley in denim, Manhattan in sage and recently I added Leocadie which is merino wool). Denim Brooklyn is beautiful and it looks so flattering!! I never tried Michel, it does look lovely though. Did you get it yet? Sorry the sale was frustrating, I think it is for most of us. I still participate in most of them but I go without expectations so the disappointment isn’t huge 😂

I did alright with the archives though I didn’t have anything specific. I ended up returning some shoes, a scarf and a charm. My only success was two pairs of socks in a lovely pouch. Hopefully Act II will have more items 😊

Everything was practically sold out by the time the app adjusted itself to Ireland, it’s always the same, went to leather bags first…..all gone, ended up buying a skirt I really didn’t need but it is nice, still, gutted I missed out!

Great finds!! The coats are stunning! I have the Paola dress in navy-ecru stripes and the fit is totally different than the taupe one. I took my usual size, XS, it's not that boxy and it doesn't have that weird gathering at the bottom. The difference is evident on the site photos too. I am guessing they changed the fit in later versions. 🤔
I feel the Noely is the love child of the Valerio jacket and the knitted version of the Will. I have the last two and like these a lot, but also returned the Noely. The coats you found are stunning! 😊

I bought two items but returned them. They looked awkward on my body shape though pretty in the image 😅😅 I wanted to ask something unrealted to this video. Did you try the Ciara trousers? We have similar body shape and usually pants that fit you, fit me. They released them in black leather and I'm tempted! However, I saw that they are unlined. What is your experience with leather which is unlined? I'm worried it will be sweaty and uncomfortable. Thank you and as always, great video!

Ohhh these are both great pieces! I have Anouk in green and ecru and love them so much! I feel this way sometimes too (about waking up in the middle of the night), but honestly it’s something we do once in a while and it’s for a good cause haha so why not!? The coats are great! But you were right to return the other pieces, the pants had a weird fit and while the jumpsuit looked good, it had polyester in it and I think even at a discounted price it's a no go. I only got the Servanne shirt in green. It was the same you got last year (but returned) and I thankfully remembered you saying to size up for it and I was right to listen to you😊

Hi Mila, I had you in mind when I was winter archives shopping to remind myself that these are just clothes and to not over buy. The only piece I ended up keeping from the archives was the Erica shirt in navy. It hangs beautifully on my body type. The boots and shoes I purchased on sale didn't work for me so they went by back. I also scored the Basile cardigan in natural which was not on sale but sells out quickly. I love it! I had my eye on the Flavie dress in chocolate and the lea ankle boots in black but they sold out before I could add them to my cart. While the Flavie dress is stunning, I'm not sure if I would get much wear out of it so it worked out in the end. :)

I'm returning the Phedre jumpsuit in khaki as it was too deep and muddy in colour. Outwith the archives, I did manage to get the Martin trousers in powder pink and these are gorgeous, extra long though so here goes another chop! 😆 x

I returned 2 other pieces, as I realized that I don´t need it 😆 I don´t know how in US, but in Europe (at least for my country) archives took only 1 or 2 days and then it disappeared from the website for good. I only started buying from Sézane in October, so this was my first archives. I was on the app well before it started like 20 mins before… and I managed to get 3 jumpers and 2 cardigans and one pair of pants. I kept everything except one of the cardigans which was very cropped in person and had kind of a distressed look somehow. I ordered everything according to my seasonal color analysis palette of true spring and the size I usually order all the knitwear in so it was a lot more successful than I had even been hoping for. Very excited, saved like 35% on average.
I ordered 2 sweaters and sent both back. They had silver thread on them that felt like it wasn't my style and it wasn't apparent in the website photos.
I was pretty disciplined this time around, and truthfully there just wanted that much that I liked in my size. I only purchased 5 pieces from the Archives and to my absolute surprise the only piece I absolutely loved and kept was the Leo Coat in Magenta-the color is stunning! I managed to score and Artemis belt which I have really been wanting but it was too small. I hate that so many of the belts come in 80, 90 and so on. I need an 85 and so few of the belts I like come in 85. This archives was such a disappointment compared to summer-I felt like there was much more in summer. But it’s ok, kept me from over spending.
I'm so glad you tried the leather pants 😅 I was contemplating on buying them but I have an hourglass shape, and seeing them on you? I'm really thankful I didn't get them. My two cents, I think the Archives are overrated. If a sweater, skirt, or pants don't sell out on the regular website. Chances are there is something off with it. (Like the complicated shaped leather trousers)

Exceptions: the Abelia Blouse in silk silver(!) is amazing as a going-out piece, and the Enzo jeans are pretty good all around versatile jeans (though I did have to get the waist taken in a bit, they are not as ill-fitting as the Serge jeans which seem to have almost no difference in their waist vs hips measurements!).
I got the Beryl Cardigan in rosewood and Chlo Shirt in blue. Love them both! I also ordered the Johnson coat, but somehow the fabric is too stiff for my taste.:-/

I've never shopped the archives... almost none of it really appeals to me, and I always think with a "clearance sale", there's a reason this stuff didn't sell in the first place. But I agree that if you can get in the moment it opens, you can get a great deal on something like a coat. But I don't need any more coats!
The thing is, some of these items, for example a jacket I tried to get in the archives (Erwann), did sell out when it launched in 2022 - I even reviewed this jacket but sent it back to get a size down. I tried forever to get it because I have the matching skirt. There was a point it was gone from the website because they have a certain time/season to be available online. I think this happens to a lot of pieces, actually, so even if they sell out (for the season) it doesn’t mean they won’t be available again in the archives. Someone just commented that she found the jacket - I tried and saw it available but when I added to cart it gave me that sad message telling me to try again 😂

I ordered a lot of items, but unfortunately the coats by sezane are not right for me, they're too big and long (size 34) and don't fit me well. I'm very sad for that because I succeeded to get the paulin and the james coat, but they look really bad on me. I kept a belt, a cardigan, the chloe shirt and 3 jumpers. I returned the coats, a belt, the salina blouse, the Magda cardigan and the finn jumper
Disappointed with Sezane...thinner sweaters, not properly stitched buttons, getting more and more synthetics. If you know alternative brands - let us know!! However, I've got a few pieces from archives and they are okay.
So sorry to hear that, Lidia! Actually I started to get into Sézane for the exact opposite of that. I used to buy from H&M mostly, Mango and sometimes even SHEIN. 🙈 When I discovered Sézane 4 years ago, I was blown away with the quality and design of their pieces. Costumer service was also efficient and fast. I never purchased their polyester clothes (even though it’s mostly recycled polyester). My clothes from Sézane are mostly wool, cotton and silk. I haven’t had a negative experience with them regarding the fabric, buttons, stitching or longevity. I’m going to be reviewing a couple of pieces from Rosaé Paris soon. :) Planning to try Balzac, Doen and a few others in the future since I’ve heard great things about them. I don’t know what style you’re drawn to, but have you tried Lilysilk? Their clothes are impeccable! I’ll be reviewing a few brands soon that I’ve partnered with in the past (Goelia and Petite Studio), but I haven’t owned them for long enough to speak about the quality. What I own I really love though ❤️ I know Everlane is also excellent, especially for basics! Xx
Wow! That's one heck of a respiratory problem. Are you sure it's not RSV? The cut on those leather pants are horrible. If you have a thick waist and no hips, I'm sure they're great. Put those pants on, you'll feel like you are in jail. Don't handcuff her. Just make her wear leather pants and she won't go anywhere! The texture on the gray blouse is nice. The Eddy coat looks nice. So does the Teddy coat, which seems to be a very bright shade of brown. The weave on the last item looks great. It gives it a great texture. Take care of yourself, Mila and get over that respiratory.
My hips say no to a lot of things too, but I still carry them proudly! 😂 As always, lovely try on & review.

I think this happens to a lot of pieces, actually, so even if they sell out (for the season) it doesn’t mean they won’t be available again in the archives. Someone just commented that she found the jacket - I tried and saw it available but when I added to cart it gave me that sad message telling me to try again 😂

I ordered a lot of items, but unfortunately the coats by sezane are not right for me, they're too big and long (size 34) and don't fit me well. I'm very sad for that because I succeeded to get the paulin and the james coat, but they look really bad on me. I kept a belt, a cardigan, the chloe shirt and 3 jumpers. I returned the coats, a belt, the salina blouse, the Magda cardigan and the finn jumper
I came 20 minutes late to the sale didn’t hear the alarm), and everything I liked was sold out. Argghhhh.

Disappointed with Sezane...thinner sweaters, not properly stitched buttons, getting more and more synthetics. If you know alternative brands - let us know!!

So sorry to hear that, Lidia! Actually I started to get into Sézane for the exact opposite of that. I used to buy from H&M mostly, Mango and sometimes even SHEIN. 🙈 When I discovered Sézane 4 years ago, I was blown away with the quality and design of their pieces. Costumer service was also efficient and fast.
I never purchased their polyester clothes (even though it’s mostly recycled polyester). My clothes from Sézane are mostly wool, cotton and silk. I haven’t had a negative experience with them regarding the fabric, buttons, stitching or longevity.
I’m going to be reviewing a couple of pieces from Rosaé Paris soon. :) Planning to try Balzac, Doen and a few others in the future since I’ve heard great things about them. I don’t know what style you’re drawn to, but have you tried Lilysilk? Their clothes are impeccable! I’ll be reviewing a few brands soon that I’ve partnered with in the past (Goelia and Petite Studio), but I haven’t owned them for long enough to speak about the quality. What I own I really love though ❤️

Wow! That's one heck of a respiratory problem. Are you sure it's not RSV? The cut on those leather pants are horrible. If you have a thick waist and no hips, I'm sure they're great. Put those pants on, you'll feel like you are in jail. Don't handcuff her. Just make her wear leather pants and she won't go anywhere! The texture on the gray blouse is nice. The Eddy coat looks nice. So does the Teddy coat, which seems to be a very bright shade of brown. The weave on the last item looks great. It gives it a great texture. Take care of yourself, Mila and get over that respiratory.
