I like most of the sweaters you showed, even the ones you don't wear much. Sezane really knows how to make beautiful feminine sweaters. When I lived in shanghai, sweaters were the majority of my wardrobe. My friends asked me what I invested in as I had a good job, single, had a lot of spare money. I told them my money was in my sweater collection! Then I moved to Houston and I moved my sweaters with me here. Most of them never got chance to be worn again! I had to donate them over the years, batch by batch. I just let go of the last batch which was my absolute favorites a few years ago after living here for almost 18 years! I miss my sweaters! The one rule that was not negotiable is they can't be itch. No matter how beautiful it is, if I can't wear it directly against my skin, it is a NO.
Oh Mila! I loved this video so much. Thank you! This is exactly the type of information I was looking for as I plan to purchase a couple of sweaters this fall. I just returned a navy Sami. I'm going to wait until I can get the Gary in navy. I found Sami was too cropped in that when I raised my arms, it showed ALL of my belly. I've also got the Betty in navy on my potential list. Such a helpful video! Happy weekend xoxo And PS - Yes on different versions of this type of video.
I’m so happy and surprised with the feedback!! Wish I had done this video sooner 🤣 Thank you so much Jennifer!! Sami is tricky! I really like the fit over all but it is quite cropped indeed. I think they made it this way so it works beautifully as a set with Naelle skirt. With other bottoms it can be hard to pair though. The neckline is what bothers me the most Gary and Betty are amazing, both comfortable and beautiful knits! Can’t wait for their new fall collection 🍂 Have a wonderful weekend you too! Xx
I just ordered Sezane’s cotton and merino blend knit skirt and sweater set in the ivory/ecru(?). I think I will love it for winter, the cotton cotton will make it slightly cooler than 100% merino for my mild climate. I am shopping for fall, but all my woolies are carefully stored in zippered fabric bins until November, when the weather finally changes. It was 100F here yesterday! I’ll have to run my window AC just to try this set on. One more thing to love about Sezane is their fast US delivery compared to other European brands, I usually receive my items in 3 to 5 business days (San Francisco). I love wearing a cashmere or wool dress or skirt set over a long-sleeved silk top in winter. (Die-hard dress/skirt gal and too old to change my ways just to “fit in better”).
Yes, I would love more of this type of video. It's so helpful. (But also love your other content). I've been trying out more of Sezane's trousers lately, and love the comparisons of different types of items. Thanks so much, Mila!
Hey Mila! Just wanted to let you know that I love your videos, specially your Sezane ones because your reviews are so genuine, insightful and detailed. I also love your accent and personality. Please make more of these videos. Sending lots of love
Mila, another great video! Love lyna as well! Also betty but I have to keep reminding myself to also style it open 🤣. Totally agree that now that I know my colors, I shop in a different way now! Really you are one of the experts in Sezane knits and this video really shows! Super useful content! You should do in every category 🙈
Thank you so much for this review . It is very helpful . Othello and Gaspard are my favorites . Leontine and Capucine are amazing too ( for warmer days) If you like Leontine , you should try Leon ( same cut and fit but in a wool fabric ) They’ re my personal favorites 😍🥰( i have 5 of them) The colours are beautiful and you can pair it with something underneath 😀 It is so weird to talk about knitwear right now because the weather is so hot in France at the moment 🤣 Definetely waiting for fall 🥵
Great video Mila! I'm surprised you didn't include the Angelie, I remember how much you loved it at the time. A pants/ trousers video would be fantastic 😊
Thank you for doing such a wonderful review of various cardigans and sweaters, it was so helpful! I love the look of the Angelie cardigan but the light beige color was ok (not fantastic but ok) for my skin color, I can't wait to try it in vintage blue.

Thank you my dear ☺️ I’m excited for their fall knits too! I went to the store today and saw the new bags! They’re very pretty, I’ll be sharing soon ❤️
I never found shorter-sleeved sweaters of much use, my lower arms are the first things to get cold. I can’t wear even cotton or viscose sweaters in warm weather, I’ll overheat quickly. Once a woman enters perimenopause, she loses the ability to regulate her body temperature well, at least without hormone medicine. I couldn’t get the hormones, so I really had to change my fabric and style choices to stay cool year-round. Enjoy being able to wear almost everything while you’re young. Breathability is essential in everything I wear now. This overheating problem doesn’t go away with age, either, I’m 10 years post-menopause now and there’s no change.
Happy early birthday, Mila. 🥳🥳Love this video and would love to see more videos like this. Very helpful and inspirational. Wish you have a wonderful birthday celebration. ❤

Oh dear, I hope I like the Sami sweater that’s on its way, I bought the matching knit midi skirt. I do have the Betty in ecru, maybe that will work better. I also have the Betty in the navy stripe, but still want more colors! I prefer Sezane’s more classic, tailored knitwear, I don’t do frou-frou well at my age. I’ve heard lots of complaints about itching in Sezane’s fuzzy sweaters, I think it might be he Angora content. Those fluffs can drift into my eyes, too, not very comfy!
Very helpful video Mila. Just the other day we were talking about sami jumper that how i dnt like its neckline and wish it was little lower otherwise its so perfect. Its surprising that you like james and barry jumper but not trudy as they all are same style. I think they all look so nice on you :) zubaida
Hi Mila, I’m considering buying either the Gary or Bree sweater. Could you please let me know which is softer? Is it the Gary? The Bree and Leontine look similar in terms of fabric and suspect they have similar feel. I find the Leontine slightly heavy and not very soft to the touch. Thanks very much. KT

I can definitely do a video in the future with an update on how they’re holding up, but this video wasn’t it and I’m sorry that’s what you were expecting.
I recommended many other knits that I enjoy more and that I had a great experience with (for several reasons).
I never had a problem with bad stitching, loose buttons, shrinkage or anything like that. I did mention the ones that felt itchy, but the actual reasons I didn’t reach for those knits so much, were exactly the ones I mentioned (poor fit, having something of a similar color or style in my closet/ not versatile enough to pair with bottoms I own /not being able to wear a comfortable top underneath).
I just tried the Eya Cardigan in electric blue. It was a gorgeous color and extremely flattering fit, but it was PAINFUL to wear even for a few minutes. Felt like tiny shards of glass poking my skin. Sadly, I had to return. 🫤
Oh no I’m sorry to hear that! Some of their knits are super scratchy :( I have a recent video reviewing a few that felt comfy, will do an update soon ❤️
