Hi sorry for the late response, as to heavy silt i would most certainly be using a helicopter rig.. This allows the lead to bury in the heavy silt upon impact but also leaves the rig perfectly presented.
I can do that! The rig i use when i use a bait boat is just your standard lead clip, usually using something like a snowman rig. Making sure to make use of anti tangle sleeve. If you still need a video explanation let me know. Thanks for the comment and support i appreciate it.
@@BanksideFishing basically I didn't find your post insightful, I have been using pva for years. Maybe someone new to angling would get something from it

Show one for a baitboat that covers the lead clip and lead so it doesn't tangle on the way down?

I also use solid bag rigs in a bait boat as this does eliminate any tangles 😊
I normally use a couple of pieces of rig foam but my new water is quite deep and want to be sure it hasn't tangled.
@@darrylclarkson1799 if its quite deep maybe consider solid pva bags dipped in hemp oil.. The hemp oil allows the pva bag to melt much much slower
Excellent demonstration. Thank you. I'm part of your UA-cam channel to support you hoping you do the same thing to me.
Only been around for 20 odd years.
Correct it has but it’s like everything else isn’t it, new things come along and old ones get forgotten about
