Incredible, loved watching you build the earth dome. I can appreciate the hard work and determination you both have! I am 77 years old last month, I retired 9 years ago and built my dream house 95% with my own labor. It was a traditional build, I designed it myself in a CAD program for the plans, but it really started in my head years before. Took 3 years to draw it the way I wanted. I is a very traditional English Tudor design, 2500 sq ft with 10/12 pitch on the roof. Open vaulted 28 ft ceiling in the main living room, very difficult build. People said I was taking on too much at my age, but if your not under the ground, you might as well build on top of it! I'm not trying to brag here, just giving anyone out there some inspiration, if I could do it so can you! If you think you can't do it, your probably right! But think about it, the first bridge ever built over a creek, no one knew how do do it. You have a mind with imagination, use it, or loose it. You two are a great inspiration for young people in this day and age of high costs of owning your own home, anyone reading this just know that the first step is your thoughts, next is to move in that direction and seek alternatives to, "saving up and putting money down on a huge mortgage", there are other ways just as these two showed here! Blessings on you and your new home!

I have to say, your home is representative of what a marriage contract (vows) is like with all the elements in place. I commend you for sticking to it together till the end. I hope you find a way ro finish the home on your wedding anniversary so you can say "We did it" on YOUR DAY.

I would have never made my superadobe out of sacks but rolls of continuous earth bags until I saw You guys build a great home. I am totally fear free to start our own superadobe in the next few years God willing. Congratulations!

At first I thought it was building the second dome and I was like holy crap they are building so fast. LOL
I've never seen this type of build before. I believe it to be unique, perhaps requires a certain tenacity or determination to complete. However, with every bag that's laid down, the walls rise up, creating the home that was envisioned. You guys did a phenomenal job on this build. May you enjoy your new home for many, many years to come. Hats off 👍👍

You know I think as you all continue on this project this channel is going to become absolutely legendary. Every now and then I had been checking in on your project and man so much hard work. Very slow progress. But now looking at your newer videos where this dome is completed and it lays across the horizon so beautifully, you're creating something truly unique and worth seeing. This type of dedication is rare in the US these days and it really shows the depth of character you all have. Can't be easy, but worth it.

If these dudes are >40 years old, and able to complete a task as physically demanding as this, without sustaining permanent injury (repetitive stress, hernia, joint, muscle, tendon, ligament &c), then someone needs to publish a paper on them. Just working at a grocery store (boxes, shelves, stocking &c) is enough to destroy the body of the layperson. This right here is future-robot stuff. WAY more than the the average UA-camr is capable of enduring.

I have done it myself and actually had to change the project as we wasn't able to continue with doom as weather got very rainy so i had to build a roof on the beams and finish uper part of the walls with straw bale bags as it is difficult install clay bags if there is a roof already. It is very labor intensive project that You accomplished. Absolutely amaizing, well done 🙂
