After hearing all the stories, it feels that we as a Bbutanese did not do anything to honer our one and only great master....seeing the photo of ruins of Pema Lingpa's very birth place was saddening.

What a brilliant presentation. Making me understand much better the role of the tertoen. I didn't know that blacksmith was a disregarded profession. At least a blacksmith produced much needed material for the farming population.

I think there was an ox who had helped the brothers with their work and on being left behind, in his resentment he prayed to be reborn as one who will destroy what the 3 brothers have prayed to built. Later He was born as king Langdarma who is now infamous for almost destroying Buddhism in Tibet.
A bird at the time perched on a tree was watching and heard what the ox had wished for and the bird in turn prayed to be born as one who will stop the Ox.
Haha brother is forgetting how H.H Je Rinpoche. And all the Je rinpoche and Especially H.H Je Tenzin Dendup. Gotta mention it by any means.
Without pema lingpa there would be no mask dance such as Demetsi pa nga cham ,nga ghing, jughing and such and such
