On October 5th, 2019, the Smith Family Conservatory celebrated The King's Academy's 50th Anniversary with a Broadway Spectacular featuring Broadway's best, TKA alumni, and the Conservatory's singers and dancers.
TKA’s Smith Family Conservatory of the Arts, a two-time American High School Theatre Festival award-winning fine arts program is led by Mr. David Snyder (Artistic Director, Musical Theater, Department Chair), Mr. Nathaniel Adams (Director of Vocal Arts), Mrs. Cathy Higgins (Director of Dance- Ballet, Tap, Modern and Jazz), Mr. Douglas Gawriljuk (Dance- Ballet and Modern), Mrs. Heidi Martin (Theatre Arts), Mr. Brad Majzner (Stagecraft & Technical Director), Mr. Wes Lowe (Director of Instrumental Arts), Mrs. Stephenie Grasso (Instrumental Arts) Mr. Patrick Clifford (Instrumental Arts Strings), Mr. Austin Parenti (Media Arts Director), Mrs. Mary McCarty (Media Arts), Mrs. Laura McFaden (Visual Art), Mrs. Virginia Nucci (Visual Arts), and Mrs. Robin Phillips (Instrumental Arts Piano).

This was good but I feel like Adam did the best. Some of Quentin’s characterizations of the song didn’t seem to hit the mark. Like, after the “but not for me”, his eyebrows winced as if he just realized he was supposed to be sad. And Tess didn’t seem to do any real type of characterization.
