For those of you who don't have time, I solved my case by switching the boot device from BIOS to UEFI and converting the partition to GPT after booting. On CMD (Shift+F10), Diskpart->ListDisk->Select (at least Sel for short.) Disk n (Your desired number) ->Clean (The information on the disk will be deleted) ->Convert GPT (If you need MBR method, you can use Convert MBR.) ->Exit and then close and reload the CMD.

I built many fast pcs since 1982 and now I got stuck after erasing the NVMe and got that 0x80300024. after a Win 11 setup hosed the drive on my 9900k at 5100MHz. I always left all drives in place but I was forced to remove 2 HDD and 2 SSD and 2 out 3 NVMe and on my second try that 0x80300024 was gone on my Samsung 970 in the past I would use MBR drives and then convert them to GPT many times. Now this is my first clean install in 3 years and I always had 2 win 10 boot drives to be safe but the erasing the NVMe killed my backup booting so next I will keep the backup out of the pc. Now thank you for posting this Sir.
I believe it has something to do with the controller, I mean the actual board like motherboard on the HDD drive itself between those drive, one is SSD and the other is HDD so that may be why.

Thank u so much Been trying for hours to get my new ssd to start working and finally did it, and came across this error and almost threw my keyboard out the window 😂 Disconnected all other drives and now it's golden 👌
Thank you for this tip. I was RE-installing Windows 7, from the DVD, in the same old disks configuration. It always needed the installation DVD disc in the drive for booting from the harddisk even after completed installation. With a virgin harddisk it gave the error from the title after choosing the drive. Disconnecting all other harddisks, no more that error, but couldn't install the files. Moving the cable on the first port, as disk 0, when deleting and re-creating the partition (I did that in the previous cases also), this time it created a small Reserved partition befor the main partition. I hope this time the installation will be OK.
Yeah, it sounds like it’s going to be OK now I guess I really can’t be sure but from what you wrote in the comment it sounds like it will probably be OK now i

Thank you a lot. After messing with BIOS hard by other gurus, I finally succeed with the easiest way, just unplug all other drives except the one you intend to install Windows.
Thanks!
Hey i know it's been three years but you saved me. You said that disconnecting other drives could fix the error and you were right for me.
Awesome!! Glad it helped!!
Thank u so much Been trying for hours to get my new ssd to start working and finally did it, and came across this error and almost threw my keyboard out the window 😂
