- So today I thought I would try my hand at customizing and painting a doormat, which might actually sound like a really boring project, but I thoroughly enjoyed it! I definitely think my choice of enamel paint was a good idea, and once it had dried it felt very firm and rigid which is exactly what I was after. Obviously my customizing idea for this doormat was very simple, and if you have amazing hand painting skills I'm sure you could make a far more complicated design when customizing and painting your doormat! But let me know what your thoughts were, and whether it's inspired you to whip our your paintbrushes and try customizing your own doormat!

Your video quality looked so much better Ant, I noticed immediately! Definitely a good investment. I think the rug looks great! It will last longer if you spray it with a lacquer of some kind. I never would have thought of painting on a doormat, but it's a cool idea. Your idea of Hi B!tch is very you lol. No one will be in any doubt about who lives at your house! Lol. Ah thanks! And nope I tried, it was almost like it had hardened or something, it was super weird, think I could of loosened it up with some white sprit if I had any 😅😅

Honestly the clip you edited in at 3:53, it made me laugh, it was so random like, "This is your brain on drugs" but... They show a fried egg? I feel like that is a perfectly fine and almost fancy way to cook an egg, they should have shown a scrambled egg if they wanted to make a point !!

Who would have thought enamel paint would have stuck on a carpet when applied deliberately. Spill some of course and it will out last the fibres and backing and still be there at the end of the universe. Oh and your Mum will act like it is the end of the Universe or at least Judgment day.

You can dye your carpets and furniture with DYLON, RIT dyes, and others. They're the only names I can think of right now.
