I like to also carry 4'-6' of duct tape wrapped around an ole gift card and about 8" of srlf-adhering waterproof repair tape. I also carry about 25' of mini-paracord or dynema thread/twine. Follow the Boy Scout motto - be prepared
Good stuff, thanks. I have radio manuals on the computer and have printed important pages from them to carry and try to avoid bringing the entire manual. I have a leatherman in the glovebox of my car. Forgot about it recently and found it accidentally. I like the lamiator.
Great list. I agree with the items listed. Instead of a flimsy poncho I do carry my old army rain poncho which I’ve had since the late 80’s and it still works great! 73.
that was great ! love the tips. yes I have over looked things in the past and needed in the field. and I have been doing this many years. The thing I like to add is like the Giga parts band plain mat. some park tables not so clean. and the band plain info does help when band hooping. can ass mouse pad if you need. their is several mats on the market. just pick one or 2 or more. very nice to have portable. and some parks a must. I even used the rain poncho for the radio when rain came in. I won't go with out them . 73's

Leatherman Wave. I use it all day everyday.
Thank you for sharing your knowledge
I love the Zebra pens, but I like the medium-point refill... I'll have to see if it fits in the pen you recommended.

Nifty manuals were cool, thanks
I have all of these in my go bag. Good job!
Nice!!

I had one of those once upon a time. They are awesome and work pretty good as a lean to as well :-)
@@KM4ACK the poncho & the poncho liner (aka woobie) are great pieces of gear I kept after I got out of the army in 93

Great tip on the mouse pad. I always think of the poncho as a radio cover. I'll survive a downpour.
Awesome video. Super practical and helpful for all hams. Thank you
Excellent. I might suggest a roll of electrical tape as well. 73
Gaffer tape is also pretty handy
Non "all weather" pens can smear and wash out when wet. I prefer a good pencil like the Pentel GraphGear 1000 with .7 lead
Great info thanks !!
Fisher Space pen Bullet pen's are great and tiny!
Have one....LOVE IT!
@@KM4ACK I also put Space pen refills in the Zebra f-701 for an all metal clicker.
Great list. I have all these items, except my analyzer is the Comet
The Comet analyzer is fine. Even a simple NanoVNA will work. Just having an analyzer with you is the important part. 👍
I got an MFJ 269 off my local swap site.
"Coax Adapter Kit" is sold out already. That's a great deal when each adaptor can run you $6-$10 a piece!
My favorite is the Titanium Leatherman. I don’t think Leatherman makes a Titanium one anymore. Mine is at least 25 years old
I like these videos. Clever and easy is the way to go. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for watching!
Bongo ties are the original gear ties
Good stuff
Appreciate it

Nothing worse than having a junky multi tool! Great tips, thanks!
I swear by the Leathermans!
@KM4ACK I have one that I picked up at a Kmart on clearance back in the 90's. Still works flawlessly.
I will give you a strong second endorsement on everything you showed. I have everything you showed and all work exceptionally well Jim KI7SSO
Thanks!!
